1-2 weeks ago, Morris Proctor's tip of the week included a helpful feature of being able to preview text comparison. When it works, it's great. I love it. However, there are many times when it does not. Anyone else have that issue?

I do not have a problem with this feature. On the MBP I do have to press the fn key along with f7, but I am assuming this is not your problem. Can you provide a specific example of when it does not work?
it does not work at random times; no set pattern
Curious which Bible ? plus what else is typically open ?
Likewise wonder if "fn" key needs to be pressed for function key ? If so, wonder about changing Keyboard preferences to use F1, F2, etc as standard function keys ?
While trying to replicate, found was easy to miss pressing "fn" key so changing keyboard preference helped me.
