Critical Search Error

I am trying to do a search using the latest public build and SR. I was not getting good results, so I took all of yesterday to rebuild my entire index. I did a search today and still get unexpected results.

For example,

I have almost 8,000 resources and a search for the word "Jesus" only returns a hit in a total of 245 resources. Really, only 245 out of 8,000 mention the name of Jesus?

I next did a search for Jesus just in my Journals. I have over 900 journals and I only get hits for the word Jesus in 28 of those volumes. I find it hard to believe that only 3 volumes of Bibliotheca Sacra mention Jesus.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Any developers care to hazard a guess on why the Mac version is unable to do a proper search?

I cannot duplicate the problem using L4 Mac SR 7. I am just now downloading SR 8.

SR 8 does not do anything to resolve the problem. Hopefully someone will help soon.

Maybe needed to search "Jesus" rather than "jesus"?

Hi Joe

Your screenshot shows you have a lowercase "j" at the start of Jesus.

Is it possible that you have "Match case" set in your search options?

With this set I get similar results to you (scaled down as I have fewer resources)
