Opinions, please.
Magnes Press Hebrew Bible Collection (12 vols.)
Storytelling in the Bible by Jacob Licht, I recommend highly. I was introduced to the book in a course by Barbra Green, editor of the Interfaces series. Written from the Jewish perspective it falls somewhere between literary exegesis and narrative theology.
Thanks. That was one I hadn't even looked at really.
Logos is dumping half my prepub list on me this month, plus several very-tempted-but-can-I-defend-it ones. Last time that happened it was essentially $10-30 resources, plus one or two $100+ slightly tempting PD ones that I let go, but which then turned up in the Library Builder for a fraction of the price. This time we're talking very different sums...
So I'm still hoping for some more opinions on this collection.
The collection is mentioned in these threads: http://community.logos.com/forums/thread/165259.aspx

I am eagerly looking forward to Cassuto's commentaries.
[Y] But, unless this is delayed (Please, just 2 weeks[:D]) I'll have to drop it.
