You don't actually close it but you have to go to Library/History to select another resource. If there is enough storage, you could switch back to the first resource without having to reload it and if both resources are on the device the switch will be faster. The resources are bookmarked and return to their previous position. This will improve when Logos provide a split screen.

There is also a book separator lower right-hand corner of the reading view.
If you drag this to half of the screen you can open another resource such as a dictionary to display them both at the same time.
Thanks,
I find this helpful on the iPad (but for a dictionary I use a third or so) its very helpful if you have the IVP Pocket Dictionaries and are reading a in depth book.

I am aware of that, just giving an example of how the split screen can be used. I was only saying I used it on the iPad. If as stated earlier the Android app has a split screen...the same thing could be used.
I am aware of that,Sorry, Philana I shouldn't have included your post.
I wonder what Hunter is on...
Oops sorry...ok, I was basing my suggestion from the Hunter's post ...I assumed from it that Android had split screen. I did not realize that was unavailable on the Android yet. Well when this feature is added to the Android you can try this. I used them like study notes.
Blessings,
Philana
Is it possible to access a dictionary definition while reading another resource without closing the resource I am reading?
Thanks.
Highlight the word that you want and do a Bible word study on the Word. You will find a dictionary definition appear in the results under the Definition section of the Bible Word Study report.
