A plead for 4.6 Beta

It is now probably too late in the 4.5 beta cycle to provide support for .NET4 in Logos. But can we please have a version of Logos that uses .NET4 or one in which we can configure Syriac to not display diacritics in the 4.6 beta? It would REALLY be nice to be able to read Syriac within Logos rather than having to read it else where. Especially since we are now getting resources other than the Peshitta NT (Brock's "The Bible in the Syriac Tradition") that are not available elsewhere.

Hi James,

If I remember correctly, there is (was) an issue with L4 and .NET4 that makes L4 run much slower. I do not know if this issue has been resloved.

Thanks Mark, I had missed that post. Yeah, it sounds as if this probably won't be in 4.6 either. Proper display of Syriac with diacriticals seems to require .NET 4. So maybe we can just hope for a way to turn of diacriticals in languages such as Aramaic, Hebrew, and Syriac. Please

We can hope that L5 will use .net4
