graphical problem - moving an expanding the windows doesn't work

Hello,

I fixed the IE9 bug in my Win764bit System. My other problems are solved. But one problem is not solved yet.

If I open a new text windows - eg LU84 or NA27 and I change the height or the width there will be a graphic problem. the scrolling bar disappears, usw.

Does anyone know this problem?

I've not heard of this before.

Make sure you're running the latest version of Libronix (3.0g). I'll include the update script for the latest version below, with some others thrown in for good measure.

Also make sure your video card drivers are up to date. Check with your card (or computer) manufacturer.

If I understand your report correctly, this is a bug that occurs on 64-bit versions of Windows and is triggered by having a "windows hook" installed. One workaround is to toggle the contents pane in the resource window (e.g., turn it on then back off again).

A more permanent solution is to uninstall the "windows hook" installed on your computer; this is a program that attaches itself to all other programs on the system, usually because it's trying to add some functionality it thinks will be helpful. Logitech mouse software is a common culprit. One way to find all the DLLs loaded in a process (which may help identify the hook) is Process Explorer. I'm not going to give a full tutorial, but basically you would run it, find LDLS.exe in the list of processes, then select View > Lower Pane View > DLLs, and sort through the list of DLLs for non-Libronix, non-Microsoft entries. This would provide clues as to the program that might be causing the issue.

Thank you for your posts and your answers. I checked all my updates and the video driver. I Have to check the hook. But first I insert a screenshot to make sure, that you've understand me. After changing the window size, after changing the position, I'll get a screen like that.

Screen shot looks similar to http://social.technet.microsoft.com/forums/en-US/itprovistasp/thread/af7ec969-2b8c-4932-a652-51f5947e259d/ discussion, which included screen behavior changing after removing hook by disabling Logitech Setpoint mouse driver.

Edit: using msconfig could be useful for disabling some stuff, especially startup items.

Yes, from what I remember of debugging the problem in LDLS3, the resource would appear very similar to the screenshot you posted. Usually, show/hide table of contents would cause that resource to redraw properly.
