downloading new resources

For the last number of years Logos would send an email indicating a pre-pub was now ready for download. I'd click the "unlock" at the top of the page and a box would pop up with licences AND resources. Click update or dowload and life was good.
Now, not so good. I can't find a way to download into L#... EVEN following the directions:
"To unlock the books that you have purchased, run the attached Libronix Update script, or visit , expand the "Download Instructions for Previous Versions" section and click the "Unlock" button.
Can someone help?

Logos is no longer releasing new resources in the L3 format, effective since the completion of the Christmas Specials. All the emails I've received for the purchase of resources I've made since then had the L3 download scripts attached - I didn't realize until now that they were no longer functional since I haven't used L3 for awhile.

If you don't want to use L4, you can call customer service for a refund...

Yeah - nice eh? Nothing to tell you when you purchase the resource that it won't work on L3 (you're supposed to know that now if you're a 'good' customer). And notice the subtle wording, "To unlock the books", it doesn't say you can access them or use them - just unlock them. And why do they keep sending these stupid e-mail notices out anyway - you don't have to do anything to unload them in L4. Come on Logos - you're starting to resemble Zondervan more and more - or was it them that took you over?

If the last part still includes a link to the Order Summary Page then you will see the Unlock button. But running the "attached Libronix Update script" should be straightforward ie. right click or double-click the attachment and Run it. I'm not sure, but I think Logos stopped doing that for resources that run only on Logos 4.

Having the same problem... seems that the Perseus collection simply can't be used on Libronix... at least that's the conclusion I'm reaching from this thread... *sigh* I have Logos 4, but my computer takes ten minutes to even load it...

If it has been created in Libronix format then it can be used (otherwise why is it listed?). If a resource requires Logos 4-specific functionality it would not be made available to L3.

Just a quick note........... The Perseus Resources state quite clearly that they ONLY work on the latest 4.3 .... Of course this would exclude Logos 3.0g

The Perseus collection uses many features/capabilities that don't exist on Logos 3, and there are no plans to back-port all this code. (In particular, the massively complex "author data type" used for navigation and indexing.)
