iOS App BUG: rating & mytag; CONCERN: Playing Catch-up

If a resource is made available offline, changes to rating are not reflected on the iOS app. Even if available offline is made OFF and ON again, It is unthinkable how this can be done for hundreds of offline resources.

mytag does not seem to work on iOS at all.

With the heavy shift in of the user base to mobile devices in the last two years, it is frustrating to have to wait for Logos to catch-up with features like the above, reading plans, and highlighting. Logos does not seem to show signs of being able to be at par with, much less stay ahead of, the other industry players in releasing features for mobile devices. With all the investment I can already made with Logos, I am afraid Logos is going the Nokia, Blackberry, and Kodak way in the sphere of Bible Software.

A major new release of the iOS app has already been submitted to Apple; we're waiting for approval.

The last thing we want is to "go the way of Kodak" in Bible software. Don't worry -- we get that mobile is important, and we're working hard on it. There's a lot of work underway.

How long does the approval process usually take? I am asking because I am teaching a class on Saturday, I wanted to put my notes in Logos, and then use them on the iPad. Is it likely to be available by then, or more likely by Monday? I just wanted to know if I need to do it in another program. I appreciate all the hard work you guys are doing!

Personally, I would make other arrangements for this week. Even if it were to be approved tomorrow, you would not have much time to see how it works, etc. by Saturday.
