    Ed:

You can use screen mirroring with the IPad through the Apple TV.

The iPad 2 (not the 1st gen) will mirror wirelessly to the (current gen) Apple TV.

My local Best Buy with Apple store inside had all of this setup for hands on demonstration.  It was pretty impressive

Yes, and it works quite well.  I teach using my iPad2 and Keynote over Airplay to an AppleTV connected to a large TV.  It works so well that I've considered purchasing a 2nd Apple TV unit to carry around in my backpack.

Thanks for the responses. I have an IPad 1 but glad to hear it can be done.

FYI - Rumors are swirling that Apple will take a similar path with the iPad that they did with the iPhone - i.e. when they introduce the iPad 3 (in March?), they will continue to sell the iPad 2 at a reduced price point, while bringing the new iPads in at the old price points.

iPad v1 works with Apple TV for things like Music, Video etc from various apps. The built in YouTube app etc works fine. Various video playback apps work fine.

But as above, the screen Mirror feature is iPad 2 only, not iPad 1.

It may be that Logos could add code for rendering to Apple TV, but its less clear that would be best use of developer resources when there are other features I expect many might want more importanly.  Besides, the Mirror support is already in iPad 2 and iPhone 4S. Maybe some of the other models too.

If Logos brings video resources to iOS, I would expect them to work from my iPhone 4S to Apple TV as thats part of the OS rather than the app as such. Or so I think.
