2.0.1 Notes files

First of all thanks for this great update. The highlighting is superb.

However, when I click on a note icon on iPhone it does not open the full notes file as Logos 4.5 does.

I tend to create multiple notes within a notes file (as per Mark Barns videos) which are not showing up on the iPhone. I also create notes files on Bible Word Studies with a separate note and comment for each occurrence of a word. Its a shame that I can't see all of this.

Also, it has already been mentioned in another thread that unattached notes cannot be accessed.

Can I ask that this is something that can be worked on.

2.0.1 is a great step forward. I love the highlighting, but for me the notes aren't quite there yet.

    Hi Andrew,

This is what I found about the note file.

I create a note file for Book of John, and if I click on a note icon, my iPhone App will show the note for that section.

For example I got note for john 1:12 and 3:16, if I click on the note icon for 1:12 I will only see the note for 1:12, if I want to see the note for 3:16 I need to click on the note icon for 3:16.

Is this what you experiencing as well?

    Yes, exactly that.

Your notes file for the book of John will have all your notes in them and you can jump from one to the other. But on iPhone you can't do that, which is quite limiting as you don't know you have a note attached to John 3:16 unless you stumble on the note icon.

Maybe there is a better way to take notes but at the moment it is not really working for me.

    Hi Andrew,

Im experiencing the same thing too. I've been working on a sermon for Phil 1:27 and in my note file I have multiple notes (9 at the present inc highlights), but only my first note is showing up. I agree this is restrictive especially in terms of being able to continue my studies through the iPad app...

Would also be nice if there was a menu to see all notes, not just by scrolling through verses.. for example if i had a note file on the atonement, and i was discussing that with someone would be great to go to a menu and scroll to that note file and be able to see everything..

But that said, this update is a great step forward [:)]

I agree. And I am sure now that notes and highlighting have been implemented that it can be refined over the coming months.

I agree, I had hoped to find and open a note file, for example on baptism, and see all of my notes and links in that file, like you can on the PC version.

It would also be nice to see a list of all highlights in a resource, to jump to each one and review them like in the Kindle app.

But thank you for all of the other improvements!  Great job!
