BUG/Not Functioning - Synchronizing Library Resource Reviews

I entered this in another thread but wanted to make sure it was listed to look at by the developers. I have confirmed as far as I can tell that if I update the star rating on library resources on 4.5 Mac it does not synchronize to my 2.0 iPad/iPhone. Considering that Library sorting by Rating is a new feature of this release, I was hoping it could be resolved. Thanks.

p.s. I LOVE HIGHLIGHTING/NOTES ON MY IPAD!!!! Great job!!

Dave - Sorry, I forgot to get back to you. I did check with the developers and both ratings and collections will move to sync v2 in a future update.

Excellent! Thanks for doing that. I am not familiar with sync v2. Do you have any information on the features of this release? Is this a backend update or will it also update the frontend software? Thanks again. For the first time I really feel like I can use my iPad/Logos for biblical research & teaching with this latest release. Thanks.

As cool as some features of 4.5 are, in reality, the majority of the work is "under the hood." Logos began working on a new sync infrastructure which they are calling sync v2 last year, which makes its debut in 4.5 & iOS 2.0. One way to think about it: Logos had a 2 lane road going in and out, but they have been working on adding multiple lanes. They needed to add capacity to meet demands for now & the future.

"Sync v2". is not a release, but a feature of this release and ones to come. Notes & Highlighting were switched over now. Reading plans are up next. I am not sure when Collections & Ratings will come or how big of a release they will be. Notes & Highlighting were obviously the big ones.

The new mac beta includes sync v2 for reading plans already, but it will also require an update to the mobile app.
