I am not sure what you are asking, but have you tried "right" clicking?

Wonder if referring to a Logos service => Copy Bible Verses keyboard shortcut in MS Office for Mac 2008?

In Logos, when I am looking up a verse, and then i decide that I want to copy and paste it into a word document, what is the fastest way, other than just typing it in the copy/paste box, to have that happen? To me it seems like you can't press the verse and its automatically there...is this a preference that i can change?
Thanks

Have you successfully used the Copy Bible Verses keyboard shortcut? [Command- Shift- J]? It doesn't ever work for me. Don't know why.

Are you referring to the "copy bible verses" service within Mac Os X? I just discovered this myself... I will have to play around with it more.

Yes I am. Thanks so much for your help. For instance I would like to copy and paste from the list of verses from the treasury of scriptural knowledge without typing in each verse in the right box that says copy verses.
Thanks again.

Learned some verse references from "The Treasury of Scripture Knowledge" can be expanded by keyboard shortcut while others need some modification before keyboard shortcut works (copied and pasted reference followed by command shift E replacement):

Please elaborate what steps have been tried.
Note: Logos 4 Mac has to be open for keyboard shortcuts: "Replace with Passage" and "Copy Bible Verses". Also need to enable keyboard shortcuts using system preferences before can use them.

Maybe I wasn't clear:
When I go to a passage in Logos 4, And Highlight a scripture: copy then paste to my word processing program it copies the verses, but it will not copy the "reference"
Example if I go to Jn 3.16 Copy/paste I get:
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
What I want it to do is:
John 3:16 NKJV
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Basically I want it to put the referen (John 3:16) not just not just the scripture
I did make changes as outlined by "keep Smiling"

Couple options: use Copy Bible Verses tool in Logos 4 to copy verse with desired formatting, then paste into word processing program. Alternatively use keyboard service in word processing program to replace text using Copy Bible Verses formatting and Bible. Screenshot has copy and paste in Copy Bible Verses to create new Pages document (Philippians 4:4-9), then typed Php4.4 in document twice (for Before and After), highlighted second reference, then pressed command+shift+E while in Pages. Repeated verse before and after using Jn3.16 (note: capitalization is optional):
Logos has Bible book abbreviations page => http://www.logos.com/L4/support/biblebookabbrev

Wiki Mac and PC User Interface Differences => Tools section has screen capture of Tools menu, which has Copy Bible Verses.

It would be great if Logos put a keyboard shortcut that would allow for a formatted copy of a verse(s) of scripture to the keyboard for pasting into another program. I need do that 30 to 40 times a week. I would love it if there was a single step/shortcut to make that happen. I had an ancient copy of Quick Verse that with a <ctrl f> would copy a formatted passage to the clipboard. I wish that Logos would provide that usability feature!

Curious which program(s) for paste ? Logos 4.5 Copy Bible Verses currently has option to format for 5 programs.
