Page turn delays

This isn't a serious issue, but I do have a delay when turning pages on my iPad 1. It happens sometimes on the iPhone 4s, but typically only if I'm trying to swipe a lot of pages quickly. But it happens often on the iPad. I've noticed that if I turn off inline footnotes (Love that new feature, BTW!) then the pages turn faster, but even with inline footnotes off, I get the loading spinner more often than I'd like.

This is with the ESV, which I have downloaded.

    Same here!

iPad v1, and the new Logos iOS release: page turns for downloaded resources are ok for a few pages (the unit size of the data buffer?), but then is many times slower to turn the next page. Its gone from almost instant to maybe a few seconds of watching the spinning icon!

I enabled airplane mode to ensure it was not some syncing online aspect getting in on the picture. No change as far as my limited testing has shown.

Specs: iPad v1, 64 GB, and around 5 to 8 GB free at a guess. Maybe 6 to 8 GB of Logos resources offline as reported under iOS usage for the Logos app.

So far, I like what else v2 brings, but please review this aspect in due course.

I've got to make the point this this is way less important than the core functional issues others are documenting elsewhere re sync or crash problems. Those must of course get the critical attention they require first.

Thanks to the team that have working and are now working hard to bring us the goodies ...

To be clear: the new v2 is way slower than v1.x was yesterday, for the page turns when it needs to fetch the next segment of data.
