Syncing within books between Logos4 and iPhone app...
Folk,
How is this book location syncing supposed to work? With the Logos 4 application (Gold user), I can readily see when synchronization is happening and force a sync by clicking the icon in the top right of the application.
However, on the iPhone side, I don't see any method to tell if synchronization has happened or how to force a sync.
I've done a bit of testing by opening various books in one app, moving to a random location within the text, exiting the application then opening up the opposing app and these books always seem to open at the beginning.
What is the time delay for syncing?
How does one tell what is happening on the iPhone side?
Thanks,

What is the time delay for syncing?
The iPhone itself does not sync but relies on the server to tell it where to go. The servers sync about every minute. Also keep in mind that if you change between Bibles it will open the new resource to the same position as the previous resource. The iPhone app also defaults to loading your preferred Bible to Genesis 1:1 on startup, which would cause any other Bibles you open to also go to Ge 1:1. The position sync is more obvious on non-Bible resources.

Dave, thank you for the reply but that leaves me with a question still....
Per www.logos.com/iphone:
"Logos 4 even saves your last location in each of your books, so you can leave your desk and pick up your reading right where you left off using your iPhone or iPod Touch."
Earlier, I stopped reading Numbers at 35:1 in the NLT via the iPhone App. I then opened up my fresh install of Logos 4 in a VM and read to Deuteronomy 1:1.
The synchronization icon in the top right says "Synchronization is enabled, and all items are up to date" when I hover over it.
I've been sitting with Logos 4 opened for at least the last 30 minutes at this location.
I just opened the iPhone app and went back to the "read" icon where I previously had the NLT opened to Numbers 35:1 and it is still at the same spot.
Per the statement on the logos website, it seems that the server should have told the iPhone app to skip to Deuteronomy 1:1 when I opened the app and went back to "read" and the NLT.
Is this not how it should work?
Am I misunderstanding what the website means when it says "saves your last location in each of your books"?
I am expecting the synchronization of the location to be two-way between the iPhone app and the Logos app similar to how the Kindle.App and a real Kindle operates (The last read spot is saved server side and the App/Device will prompt you about moving to the server-side saved spot).
Thanks,

I also have a problem with syncing of my iPhone and PC. I tried to use some Favorites and it does not sync them to the iPhone at all. Does it work for anybody?

We're still looking into this issue with position syncing.
Favorites will only show up on the iPhone if the thing being favorited is available on the iPhone.

OK, that helps, thank you.
