Reading plan synced!
Tidings of great joy!
My reading plan for 2012 was synced to my iPhone this morning when I checked it. I thought I was going to have to wait for an upcoming update for this.

Stuart - Unfortunately your initial impression is correct, and an update is needed. The app has randomly synced reading plans without rhyme or reason for many months now. The changes necessary are in beta now for the desktop app (4.5a) and will be in private beta testing for the mobile app in the near future.

[Y] I didn't mean to rain on your parade... I just didn't want you to be disappointed if things aren't syncing in 15 days when your readings come to an end. [It is possible the fix will be out by then, but we will have to wait & see]

What is the problem with the reading plans?
I wasn't aware of any until I started posting recently about 4.5 issues. I've been using 7 custom reading plans (one for each day of the week) for months without noticing a problem. It seems to sync from desktop to iPad and vice versa.

I wasn't aware of any until I started posting recently about 4.5 issues. I've been using 7 custom reading plans (one for each day of the week) for months without noticing a problem. It seems to sync from desktop to iPad and vice versa.
You are the chosen one Michael! Many/Most users it seems are unable to sync reading plans at all. This is due to the old infrastructure being unable to keep up with demand. I bet you get all the good parking spots too. [:)]
For example, my primary reading plan has not synced since November 26th. Also, some users have experienced multiplying reading plans on their desktop by using the reading plan on the mobile app.
Logos is fixing the problem by migrating reading plans to the new sync v2. This will be done with a service release in the near future.

You are very fortunate. I have been without it for several months. 2 days ago, it just showed up again out of the blue.
