I also have a Kindle Fire. If there is an update you can check for one on the Kindle Fire itself. Go to your the store in the Apps section. When you click on the menu button at the bottom... (it's the rectangle with three horizontal lines), select My Apps on the pop up menu, and then select the Update Available Tab... this will list any of your apps that need updated. I currently have chosen to stick with the Amazon official Logos app in the Amazon App Store, rather than side loading Logos to the Fire from Android Marketplace. This may not give me the most current version of the Android Logos App, but I'd like to make sure I have the one that's designed for the Fire... to hopefully not have any issues. For what I use it for, which is mostly reading, I don't need to have the cutting edge. Now having said that it might mean I'll have to wait awhile before notes and highlighting are availble (which they aren't yet) when they finally do get out to the Android App, but I'm not that impatient, at least not at this time anyway.
Check the post at the top of the Forum - similar to L4 updates.
