Limits to video file upload
I was trying to upload a 720p movie file into a service, but I got an error message saying my file size was too large. Is that just because I'm previewing the program? I use plenty of video clips purchased from Igniter Media, and they do have a number of them over your 2GB limit. Can you help me out with this question before I decide to purchase Proclaim?
Also, how do I directly import a song from Song Select. I linked my account already, but can't figure this one out.

We have imposed limits on video size, as each byte transloaded by our services costs us, and when you're considering many users uploading large videos this can become problematic.
If you have a larger video you can present it by selecting Local File Only on the File Upload window. You'll need to have the video file on hand at the time of presentation, but it avoids that problem.
You will also need to be able to play that video on the computer running the presentation.

What is the approximate (or exact if you know) limit on Video size? Also, in addition to each video, how much total storage space is allowed? For instance is each video 1 GB but the total allowed per account is 20GB? I haven't located that provision in the documentation, though it is possible I am blind....

There is not currently an overall uploaded media limit, nor are there plans to institute one. This could change in the future depending on the usage patterns that develop over time.
The current limit per-video on uploads is 200 MB.

Where is the Local File Only option for video file uploads? I don't see it. I have uploaded from both the "File" option on the Video page and the Account -> Upload Files... menuitem. This would be very useful.

There is a checkbox in the file upload dialog. Select this and the file will not be uploaded, rather the local file will be used.

The checkbox displays briefly. Then I get a "Unable to open file for preview" message and the checkbox disappears. At that point, the only option I have is Upload File.

Are you able to play that video directly on that computer? In order to use a file locally, you'll need the ability to play that file directly from your computer.

Excuse me sir, but it seems that you know much about video playback problem than i do. I have very similar question and I want to ask. Recently I purchased this DVD compressing software http://www.videoconverterfactory.com/tips/dvd-compressing.html to compress my DVD video into AVI. The whole conversion process was fine but the output AVI video contained no audio sound only video images. I changed my DVD disc and tried again and again, still no sound. I want to know if this error was caused by the so called 30x acceleration? Do you ever meet a such kind of question?
