How do I get my notes on my iPad?
Can print notes to PDF document, then transfer document to iPad for use with PDF reader application (e.g. CloudReader).
On Windows, Bullzip PDF Printer is free.
Looking forward to Logos on iPad syncing Notes (along with highlighting) sometime.
Keep Smiling [:)]
Yes, would become a better teaching tool if notes could be included with text to eliminate the need to close pdf, open Bible, etc.
Sorry, wrong post. Meant to say would become a better teaching/preaching tool if prepared text and notes could be saved and presented side by side to the instructor/preacher.
BUMP!
I just was wondering... though I know it has been said..... NOTES? Access to notes?

Logos on the iPad is really just a glorified reader at present and does not even have the functionality of Bible programs like Olive Tree or YouVersion. In both of these programs, you can highlight passages and take notes.
Any idea when this might be coming to the Logos iPad app?
Taxee,
Even if it did have the capability to take/sync notes and highlight from what it is now it wouldn't change your definition from a glorified reader, would it?
Mindful that this is running on an iPad along side the likes of time wasting favorites such as Angry Birds and Tetris I'm grateful we have the ability to tap into the passage guide, word study, and search functions the desktop version does do well. It runs quickly on a very small piece of technology. I'm already satisfied. The implementations you mention would make it even cooler.

You can't read over 2,000 of the books in my Logos library on Olive Tree or YouVersion. For my purposes, Logos on the iPad far outshines anything else, and it didn't cost me anything. But that is just me.
Not precisely true. Those iOS app developers are getting paid by your product purchases. I think it would be more correct to say the iOS app is "included" rather and saying it's "free" or it "didn't cause you anything." We are paying for it.
That being said, because of the library the Logos app is more valuable to me than the other Bible apps out there, but from a functionality standpoint, the app itself is way behind, which is why I often find myself using Laradian on my iPad when I'm doing Bible study away from my PC.
Hi everyone. Is there any update on this issue? Is there a note taking and highlighting capability yet?
Clayton - Logos is currently working on version 4.5 (in beta now). A major feature of this release is a new sync infrastructure which will bring the capability for notes and highlighting to the mobile apps. Below is a screenshot that Dave Dunkin posted as a tease. There is no public information about when this feature may be available, but it will not be before Logos 4.5 goes live.
We're getting closer...
Excited about 4.5, but the reality is that Logos is the best app on the iPad.
After purchasing my iPad, I saw the capabilities with the Logos app then after seeing that I purchased a L4 base package. I had some old Logos 2.0 IVP Reference software that would not work, but was able to upgrade to Logos 4 with the base package.
Having Platinum on my iPad is amazing, notes and highlighting will be gravy. I currently use Evernote or Tecarta for notes, but ready to switch when I can!
Now, if Logos will just stop all those amazing sales.....[:D]
highlighting and notes for the iOS will be great!
Can't wait! This will make the iPad app perfect for my application. It's already great, just that one sticking point that I can't make notes in it. It would be stupendous if I could place brief notes right in the text just like in my paper Bible, or even if it were only footnotes that would be much better than having to change screens. Very excited about what's currently in the works though. Please hurry! :-)

Likewise share excitement. Am aware Bob Pritchett (CEO) is anxiously looking forward to Sync v2 deployment with cross platform sync.
Observation: Logos 4.5 Beta seems to be in bug fixing mode, which indicates desire to ship a stable release soon. Also watching for mobile app updates since Sync v2 needs code updates on all platforms along with coordinated server updates.
By the way, have noticed Logos.com web site has recent improvements (e.g. wish lists).
Got my wish in the latest update (2.0.1). Hearty thanks to whomever is responsible!
