New Ipad and update to Logos base package

This Christmas I got an Ipad and decided to upgrade my old logos to a Logos 4 base package. I had a lot of books in Logos 3 that were above my new Logos 4 package. They all came over to the new package seemlessly. I am now studying on my windows laptop, marking up text, and preaching it right off the Ipad app with customized highlighting and notes.

I know there was a lot of whining on the forum about the time it took, but this is a sweet setup. I just threw $1000 at the above package and am delighted. I thought someone should say "Good job on the updates and Ipad app!!!"

My wish list includes all resources available on Ipad along with offline passage guide. The next ipad will probably replace alot of laptops and publishers who make titles availabe on laptops should make them available on ipad. I for one am confident these items will be completed soon. We are blessed to be in a new time of bible study technology.

Brian - I'd like to hear how you are using Logos 4 on Ipad to preach from pulpit.  Are you actually able to create a message outline with notes, etc?  I am using my IPad to preach from the pulpit but am using the Olive Tree Bible Reader app.  Thanks in advance for your comments.

only thing I wish Logos had right now was a way, on your ipad, to access all your highlights and notes.  I think that is pretty important.

Steve - Am I missing something? You should be able to see your highlights & notes on your iPad. Have you updated to 2.0.2?

To add to Alabama's question, have you upgraded to Logos 4.5 on your desktop?

I was not clear...I apologize.  I can see my highlights when I make them.  What I mean is, let's say I use blue for verses regarding forgiveness.  I wish there was a way to click oj something that would bring up all my blue highlights so I can see all the verses I highlighted in Blue.  OT does this.  I widh Logos did.  I SOOOOOO want Logos to be my default study tool.....but stuff like this is making me use 2 apps where one should be good enough.  Logos has more material, OT has better ipad and iphone apps.

James - this may sound a little strange, but I am a minimal note preacher. The ipad serves as my marked up bible. I insert a couple footnotes identifying my main points I. II. III. and down to A. B. C.  The highlighting is a custom pallet with numbering or lettering above the line and highlighting of the text in colors related to level of the outline. Here is a shot of the screen on the desktop ( with the new ipad app all the notes and highlights look the same now[:)]

Next I prepare a powerpoint which has all my crossrefferences ect on the screens. This is projected behind me and on the back of the auditorium so I can see it.

Between  the highlighting and the powerpoint I have what I need to preach.

I am waiting to see personal books come to the ipad. Then I will put all sermon notes in a personal book and use the split screen to dispay bible and preaching notes at the same time on the ipad. This could be done with a pages doc and four finger gestures, but I don't like flipping back and forth. Therefore personal books on the ipad is at the top of my wish list.

Did I miss a way to get personal books on the ipad?

I would love to see many important features, quick launch buttons for resources, highlight filters, toggle buttons to switch "easily" between multiple resource's back and forth on the fly.

I agree Olive Tree is much betterI personally think the "Free" Crossway ESV Bible app is a better user experience than my Logos app for the ESV on my iPad/iPhone.  YES, I am using the most updated version, and I know the Logos iPad/iPhone app recently improved, but it still LACKS GREATLY!!!

I for one, would have no problem paying for an upgraded iPad/iPhone "Premium App" that was robust in features.
