Not sure if missed or forgotten, but the word lookup for Greek and Hebrew still references the preceding word. The work around is to select the following word (Greek, Hebrew is inverse), but this does not work in some cases.

I think we missed this, sorry!

I am not able to view my downloaded resources when I am off-line. I get "Could not open offline resource." message. It was the same in the beta as well as now that it is live.

Can you download a resource and access it?

I can download resources. Once I download them though I am no longer able to view them. (online or offline) If I remove them I am able to view them again.

Sorry I am not sure if my last reply went through.
I am able to download resources, but when I do I am not longer able to view them. Online or Offline. Once I remove them I can view them again.

For anyone with an Android tablet who happens to also have used the Logos app on the iPad, how does the new split screen functionality compare with the iPad app?

Identical as I recall but I can check later if you need. Great update. Thanks Logos!

Update: I ended up removing the app and then reinstalling it. It seems to be working now.

LET'S FIX THE HEBREW SOON PLEASE
I am very excited to see the new developments and the progress being made in the latest Logos version for Android users. Hats off to Logos for what is an increasingly great product. I would plead with Logos to work on getting the Android version to correctly read Right-to-left script, namely, the Hebrew text. I am a Hebrew professor and therefore work in the Hebrew text frequently. But the mis-allignment of the pointing with the consonants is very difficult (I could probably read it better without the pointing!). I knew when I opted for the Android that we would be working with Beta versions for a while, but enough time has passed to have conquered this problem. So, please, let's get the Hebrew script corrected as soon as possible. I'll even say a prayer to that end for the Logos techies!
Kindly,
J. Paul Tanner

How long does it typically take Amazon to approve these apps?
0 -
Don't know the specific answer to the question, but if the intent is to determine if it's available, it is. I updated my Kindle Fire yesterday.

Thanks John - it has not shown as having an update available for me yet. I will continue to try.

Hi Barry, mine didn't show up automatically today, but when I went to the app store, selected Logos, and hit (the only two selections) "later", i was then able re-enter the app store with new selections of "update" which downloaded the new app for the Kindle Fire. Richard, in another post said his was there when he opened the device by seeing a circle next to his name... needless to say, mine wasn't that easy.
I have the split screen showing up, and all my downloaded books that were on the Kindle were still there, even though through the process it re-logged unto the Logos Server, or at least that's what it looked like to me. Really like the split Screen!!!

How do you download books for offline use on Aneroid?

Open the Library catalog, & instead of clicking on the entry, click the small arrow (on my screen, at the far right)...

That's weird... for some reason it isn't giving me the option to download ESV on my Fire, like I can on my iPhone. I tried another resource and it worked. I guess I've just always been trying ESV. Now I feel dumb! The question though is why can I download it on iOS but not Android?

Not sure as I have downloaded it to my Android device. I assume you have a licence for ESV and have logged on, so i can only recommend you uninstall and re-install Logos (you will lose the books you have downloaded). See the thread for 0.9.4 at the top of the forum for details.

Thank you Dave. Of course I didn't pay enough attention and found the thread on problems downloading after you said to go look - I redownloaded and let it sit both on the sign-in screen and on the Library window and it let me download the ESV.

Can you link English words from one source (bible) to a lexicon like in the Olive Tree Bibles? It could be called 'long touch.' Really eager to know that Logos has it, please, please!

Sort of... via BWS, which should give you lexicons if you have them in your library...

Well... maybe not it gives me access to lexicons, but not to bible dictionaries or other reference tools... not sure how we accomplish that?

Is there a way to only display "downloaded" books only in the library view?
That would be helpful to me when wanting quick access to books I've downloaded already.

Hi Jerry - and welcome to the forums
Is there a way to only display "downloaded" books only in the library view?
This is not possible at the moment (outside of going into "airplane mode") but is something which has been requested.
We have no information as to when / if this might be available
