Where is split screen? And..a bit of a rant... :(
I'm frustrated.
I have an android tablet with L4 on it and without the internet it's close to useless for even the most basic searches...basically just reading a bible is all I can do IF I've remembered to download it before getting to church as the church I attended today had no internet access.
I might be missing something but it seemed like searching even in a locally downloaded resource was not possible without being connected.
That was one frustrating experience.
And I also have one question...I see that split screen is one feature in the new beta but I don't know how to access it...can someone help...?

Hi Robert, not sure what device you're using, today I downloaded the new Android App for my Kindle Fire, and I have a split screen... it also loaded without losing my downloaded books. I had the same problem a few weeks ago when at Church I was only able to use my Bible, everything else wasn't availble and I didn't have access to the internet. I finally got the logon and password to use if that ever happens again.
What device do you have, you should now be able to get the newest app. Before I was filling from resource to resource using the "history" selection, but now with the split screen I have two resources available.
Blessings,

In the lower right of the screen, there is a small grey semi-circle; if you drag that up, it will create the second window.
If you can't see it, it may be blocked by soft keys that are shown on the bottom of the screen for some android builds. On my Nook Color, I have to select the soft key that looks like a double down arrowhead in order to hide the soft keys so I can access the split window control.

Correct, offline search is a planned feature. See http://community.logos.com/forums/t/34373.aspx
