I would love the Journal of Biblical Counseling available in Logos. It is already available digitally (http://ccefcommunity.org/store6.asp?sku=CD100015) but not for Logos.
I have this in PDF from a few years back, but I have always wanted this in Logos.
I'm reading through an article from the Journal of Biblical Counseling right now, and I would just like to restate again that I believe this would be a very valuable resource.

I agree! This is an excellent Journal. It needs to be available in Logos. I can't believe Galaxie didn't put that one in their collection. Hopefully this will soon be rectified by either company.
I have this in PDF as well but would love to get it in logos. Great suggestion Jacob. [Y][Y]
Amen, I have suggested it to the CCEF guys (www.ccef.org ). Maybe if more people contact them it would be great. The search tool is weak and I believe that Logos would be perfect for it. Thanks for suggesting it!

Me to, and I agree! [Y]

I'm would be interested in that as well. . .

I also want to throw my encouragement that this journal be put in Logos format. I am still trying to fully unpack the benefit of all of the theological journals and have recently seen how much they can be used in sermon preparation or through topic searches. This particular journal is amazing and a must have for biblical counseling but the searchable format makes it not nearly worth the price tag.
Logos, please make this available to us in a format that allows for easier searching.
I would re-purchase!
Me to, and I agree!
I obviously already voted on this a while back, but this resource is worth voting twice for!!!
Me too!
I would buy it immediately.
Same here, and would love it in logos
Edit: didn't notice that this was an old thread to which I've already responded
Ditto. This needs to be in Logos.
I'd like to see this
Is there any chance an employee (paging Phil Gons) might weigh in on the thread and let us know if this is a possibility or provide us with a suggestion about how we can help make this a reality? Pretty please with a cherry on top?
[Y] Please bring to Logos.
Dear Logos -
Simply call Tim Lane, the Director of the Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation. I'm sure he'll take your call!
(215) 884-7676
I would also buy this immediately.
I'd also put my vote (and my wife's, the counselor) on here. Would be very beneficial.
I posted a similar suggestion after the 2010 CCEF conference. It would be a good idea for people to write CCEF, and encourage them to contact Logos. I hope Logos is working on a deal already. Please, Santa, put this on the pre-pub list for Christmas! [:)] Here it is.
I spoke with Tim Lane at the CCEF annual conference regarding the JoBC. He said that others have also mentioned their desire to see it on Logos. He thought that it had been awhile since they had explored that possiblity. Hopefully he will pursue it. Perhaps we might soon see a deal worked out with CCEF between Logos or Galaxie? I'd sure love to have this journal in Logos format.

I interacted with CCEF on their facebook page. Since it's public, I'll repost but it looks like they are not going the Libronix route currently (I'm happy to be wrong):
CCEF Response:
Christopher, thank you for the encouragement about the Journal. Progress is being made on the next installment of the JBC cd-rom...stayed tuned for updates.
The post is at http://www.facebook.com/ccef.org
Logos users, it may be helpful to go to the page and find Christopher's post (From Dec 7) and encourage them to release it in Logos digital format.
I added my post to the facebook page. I think I will write them as well. I have the Journal of Modern Ministry on order. I've used both journals, but the JoBC is superior. I hope this can happen soon.
Bump.... still very interested in this
I'd buy it! [Y][Y]
I'd buy it
Bump
Plus One. I'll buy! Also, I just posted on their FB wall. Feel free to head over and join me with your support.
The new JBC produced by CCEF is available starting today, but not for Logos. I have also emailed them in the past asking for this resource. I believe lots of folks would also buy it were it Logos compatible.
http://www.ccef.org/jbc
Lots of folks have done similar at various levels in my understanding including myself. The JBC it is one of the best resources of its kind and I would like to see it in Logos. However, on the other hand, I have already bought the digital archives from CCEF and I don't fancy paying several hundred more to re-obtain them in Logos format. I would not discourage you from keeping on trying to encourage development, but, I think that the current action is the definitive response for now. We'll see what the comes of the "digital archives" to be released in the summer amounts to but I don't think it would be in Logos format. However, one can dream...
This is just my conjecture, but, I believe that CCEF's desire for a wider audience is the probable reason they are currently staying out of the closed loop Logos ecosystem which is a more profit driven environment that reaches a much smaller piece because it is proprietary software. I'm just happy that they are publishing again and I'm excited that it will be more widely distributed to benefit Christ's church.
mee too
I suspect that publishing within Logos would make CCEF's material available to a wider audience. Also, their material would be more beneficial as it would be readily accessible and searchable within our existing digital libraries. For almost any topic or passage I'm studying I run through my journals to see what has been written. I would love to have JBC available in the search...so would many others who otherwise might not even know that the journal exists.
Here is a post from CCEF's facebook page to answer someones question about a potential Logos version of the journal.
"... we are working on that right now. Great question - we will keep you updated."
If you go to their facebook page you will find this connected to a recent (Feb 22) picture of a new e-format. Hopefully we will finally have this valuable journal on Logos.
As a nouthetic counselor, this would be an awesome resource
Available on iBooks now, but still not available for Logos?! Come on, CCEF!

Is it not possible to have a continuing subscription for JBC and JOMM on logos? It great having all the back issues, but there are some great resources in the newer issues that should be included in our searches!
Great suggestion Margaret Gabriel! Can this be suggested as an add-in to the Theological Journal Library or some such? It's one of the reasons why I haven't bothered to buy the Logos edition - since I still have my perfectly functional PDF library. Why re-buy (again)? But if buying into the Logos edition meant that I would be able to purchase affordable updates that would be included in future searches, then, it might be enough value to justify the purchase. Just a thought!
Hi guys is there updates planned for the CCEF Journals?
Is there a way to get the new journals?
I got updates for other resources (Tim Keller Sermons) I wanted to know if it was the same for the journals.

Has there been any news as to whether Logos intends to make the more recent editions of JBC available? There are a number of interesting articles in the recent issues (volumes 26:1-28:1) which I would like to read, but I'm hesitant to purchase pdf versions directly from CCEF as I would rather have them in Logos, and add them to the full collection I already have.
Any news would be appreciated! Thanks.
