How to quickly find definitions in the iPad app
1. Double tap or press and hold any word.
2. Tap copy.
3. Tap screen at the top to bring up the reference window. (It doesn't matter if it is a novel or Bible.)
4. Tap the reference window to get focus.
5. Tap the x in the window to erase the current script.
6. Tap the window twice.
7. Tap paste.
8. Tap your pasted word twice.
9. Tap define. Your definition will appear in a drop down window. After a few times this procedure goes quickly. It works for Vyrso too. It doesn't change the page you are on.

Thanks Jerry!
But shouldn't this be easier and more obvious?

Jerry is using the define feature built into iOS. This is not a feature of the Logos app.

Yeah, that was a rhetorical question for Team Logos.
I actually didn't realize the Define feature works on all input boxes. Good to know (for other apps that don't directly provide dictionary definitions).
Thanks!

I expect it will in the future. I suppose the reason many of the features of this app aren't documented is that it is changing so fast. I wish there was a place to go like the wiki where issues about linking, definitions, highlighting etc. were answered in a quick reference kind of way instead of digging for them.Peter Li said:Thanks Jerry!

Edit: See above where this is not actually a feature of the app.
