BUG -- ESV and other Bibles not downloadable
I got a new Motorola Atrix (identical replacement for one that broke) and installed Logos. It looks like everything is working perfectly except for one thing -- all the "free" resources that are available to people who do not have a logos account show no download button. For example, ESV, KJV, NJKV, Darby Bible, Arabic Bible, Lexham English Bible, Wescott Hort Greek NT, etc. None of these resources give me the option to download. All my other resources are present in library and downloadable. I have tried updating library but no change. I also uninstalled the Logos app (losing all the resources i already downloaded!) and reinstalled, but again no change.

I'm confused. If you sign-in to your own account I would expect any resources in Library to be downloadable because you own them. If you can't sign-in and can use "free" resources why should you expect them to be downloadable? Please clarify.

I have done it both ways from fresh installs. If I do a fresh install and do not sign in to my logos account, the free resources are available online, but are not downloadable. If I do a fresh install and DO sign in to my logos account, all my resources are downloadable except the "free ones".

I signed in and out about 8 times.... and the last time I did that, for some reason, it now works. I didn't do anything different the last time. Something is goofy, but at least I am up and running now.

I'd agree the app/server have an issue after you use a "free" account.

We will look into this.
When you first install the app, we start updating the library with the list of "free" resources, to allow users who click the "later" button to see their books right away. It sounds like somehow those entries aren't getting re-updated properly once you sign in with a real account (if this occurred, pressing Menu->Update on the Library would not help).
Only thing I can think of is to try waiting a couple minutes at that sign in-screen to let that initial list finish downloading.

downloadingI just got a new phone (another Motorola Atrix -- my old one developed problems), and I am having the same issue with all the "free resources" not being able to be downloaded. I tried the suggestion of waiting a couple minutes, but it did not help. I have uninstalled and reinstalled a few times now, and tried signing in right away, waiting a few minutes before signing in, or never signing in at all. It doesn't matter... no matter what I do, the free resources do not give me any option to download. I will keep trying... maybe eventually it will work.

I really dont know what to do anymore. I have uninstalled and installed at least 15 times, sometimes signing in, other times not... I just cant get it to work. Cannot download ESV or any of the other "free resources".
I hope LOGOS can fix this soon.

OK... finally got it work on one after one of the reinstalls. Dont know why. Didn't do anything different.

I had the exact same problem last week with Galaxy S. Could download most bibles but not ESV, NKJV, KJV and a couple of others. I know that the first time I did not wait for the entire list of books to update before attempting to download. I uninstalled and reinstalled. After waiting for the list to update the first time before downloading, it worked.
