Preserving Guide notes upon refresh

If I want to refresh the data portion of a guide it seems to destroys all my notes. There are two places I see this being an issue. 1) If I click more, there is no way to re-collapse it without refreshing. sometimes I don't want all the lexicons showing in the exegetical guide after my initial investigations. 2) 1 Year from now, when I'm studying the passage again, I will have bought new resources. If I want them included in the guide as far as I know I have to refresh it, which...gets rid of my notes.

If you are talking about a "notes" tab on the PG, u can go to file and reopen the note file, then reattach to ur PG.

This is why I started using "layout" to save my PG's it keeps the "all the tabs: EG, Note,BW, even my open Bible docked to my study.

Thats why I like the idea of a save button.

Not exactly. I'm talking about this section of a passage guide. As far as I know, they are saved with the guide, not as a separate note file.

Ahh! those I have not started using yet- I perfer the note tab.

The place I'm finding them especially useful is the Word for Word section of the exegetical guide. You can attach your notes to the individual words. That way you don't have a gazillian different note blocks attached to a verse and keeps the notes very well organized.
