Is your index okay? Wondering about "...hits in two resources" when you search ESV
Btw, stable 4.5 SR-5 on Windows has 242 results in 115 verses.

While it looks at first as if you Mac-guys get so much more out of Logos than we poor PC users - after turning on "match all word forms" I can have 287 results in 134 verses as well - which, doubled, comes to KS4Js numbers in two ESVs.

That matches mine as well. I was a little curious about your earlier results. [:)]

Thanks; had used rebuilt bible index command on 5 Feb 2012 using Logos 4.5a Beta 4 so now using rebuild index command. Anticipating many hours to rebuild bible and library index using Logos 4.5a Beta 5 on Mac.
After indexes rebuilt, plan to search ESV again; not know whether to expect one or two resources in results.

I hope you come back to one ESV resource? If you look at the results in your screenshot and compare to Alabama's (which are the ones I saw on my machine without making a screenshot), you'll find that they resemble the "real ones" with approx. two chapters off, this looks like a corrupt index which points to the correct locations but somehow got a kind of "offset" added. Probably, when you scroll down in this strange view, "another" ESV waits with the correct results.
Wishing you all the best
Mick

I was about yours, that's why I ran it again with different search paraameters. I think it has been suggested earlier (by Rosie or MJ or another forum regular) that displaying the core search parameters visibly along with the results would clear up many confusions about # of hits returned.

While waiting for library indexing to complete, did a Bible search in ESV that had results in one resource with correct highlighting.
Note: rebuilding Bible Index took an hour and 57 minutes. Estimating 8 to 10 hours for library indexing (after 5 hours of library indexing, progress is 42.6%), which is consistent with thread => Logos 4.5 Beta 12 Library Indexing Speed Regression - Mac is Slow

+1 [Y] wonder about indicator buttons for Search ? (similar in idea as Text Comparison buttons)
