Will PC sync to iPad, or does iPad sync to PC?
New user here. Perhaps this seems trivial, but here's why I'm asking. My iPad app has many more resources on it than my PC version 4.5. I would really like to have the same resources in both places. Purchases made on the PC do indeed show up in iPad, but the resources on my iPad do not show up on the PC. Is there something specific I need to do, or is this just the way it is?
Thanks ~ Mike K.

If anything your iPad should have fewer resources as not all resources are approved by the publishers for mobile viewing.
My guess is that you may have hidden some of your resources in Logos 4.5. To find your hidden resources, go to Program Settings under the Tools menu and then check the Hidden Resources section.
Alternatively, you may have purchased resources and they have not been downloaded to your computer yet. If you just purchased them, it can take a few minutes for your pc to recognize that a purchase has been made. Then it has to be downloaded and the program restarted. Check the System Tray to see if the Logos Icon says that new resources have been downloaded and Logos needs to restart.

The web version biblia.com which is basically what the mobile version is contains extra items not in our Libraries. For example the Russian translation only shows up in the iOS library and various other resources like that are there...

I have had both apps (iPad and PC 4.5 latest version) for over a week. I have allowed the PC plenty of time to update and have waited until it was completely finished with all updates. I've also entered the update command, as well as download resources, etc.
I checked to make certain that I didn't accidentally hide resources. The only things hidden are from the Perseus set which I have hidden deliberately (and will call in to have them deleted this coming week).
Here are just a few examples of resources available on the iPad which are not available on the PC. There are far too many to list here:
NASB, CEV, GNB, God's Word, ASV, ESV, NLT, YLT Bibles (and many more)
Other kinds of resources on iPad and not on PC:
Strong's Concordance, Jamieson-Faucett & Brown Commentary, Systematic Theology, Summarized Bible (O.T.), Easton's Bible Dictionary, Nave's Topical Bible, Morning & Evening, etc., etc.

Hi Mike
Sounds very strange!
Some questions:
- what Logos base package do you have?
- are you using the same username to log in to Logos on the iPad and on the PC?
- can you post logs from your PC after shutting down Logos? They may give some hints as to what is going on. Details for doing this are at http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging

Mike - there is clearly a problem, but it is certainly not a "sync" issue (resources don't "sync" in the manner that you are describing - they don't move from your iPad to your computer & vice versa). The problem is some sort of installation problem on your PC. The simplest problem could be that you are not using the correct username & password on your PC. It is also possible that your PC has had a problem with indexing.

I'm thinking that maybe the issue is my "base package." I have not yet purchased one of the base plans. I had downloaded the iPad app which gave me 67 resources after opening my account. After learning about the way the apps are designed to sync together I guessed I had assumed those resources would simply sync up to my PC app. Is this not the case? [8-)]
Thanks! ~MK

I do know that some resources are provided free with the app. I was unaware that it is so many.

No. I assume that the free resources provided with the app are designed to help attract people to the Logos format (hint, hint [:)]), but they are not actually "added to your account" in the sense that you own the licenses (you do not). To own the licenses (and so use them on your PC), you will need to purchase them.
Logos is not primarily a mobile app company, but is a bible study software company for Mac & PC. If you are unfamiliar with the software and its advantages, let us know and we can share more.

Thanks, Alabama 24. I've been researching and watching the videos. Up until now I've been using a free study software which is pretty good. After playing around with logos for a few days, wow! As a church planter I'll need to save my nickels for while to be able to purchase, though. Or perhaps I'll add a little at a time, although there is tremendous savings in the base packages.
Thank you all for clearing this up for me! This thread can be closed now.

You might not realize this, but Logos offers a payment plan. You can spread the payments out at least a year. So you might give them a call and see if they can work with you.
