I REALLY would like to see some major "offline" capability on Android.
I had a funny thing happen to me.
I was at a wrestling tourney waiting for my wife to get back from the car and had her Kindle fire on the table by me.
A man came up to me (making conversation) and started talking about apps and mentioned that he love his bible app on his tablet.
I was just about to mention Logos when he said..."do you know why I love this app so much?"
I said "no"
He said "because so many of the other apps require you to be online to do anything but this one is fully offline...and I love it!..you don't have to be connected to study your bible!"
I didn't mention Logos to him...I was a bit chagrined...clearly being able to do things offline is important to folks.
I must admit...I've felt like this man recently.
I've been in churches recently that had no internet access and just closed my tablet up because without internet access...Logos just isn't worth opening..it's one frustrating experience. I just used a paper bible to read along.
I having been keeping up but I'd REALLY like to see some offline searching/marking capability...

This is why I use a Win7 Tablet...it is heavy & battery life isn't the greatest, but I have a complete version of L4 w/o compromises.
Once highlighting is available for L4Android things will be better...but perhaps never as great as the full version.

Thanks Philana, I didn't know that.
Ward...yes...I'm stuck with carrying my Dell laptop around. [:(]

You can mark up your resources and take notes offline.
This is only available for the IOS app fit now, it is coming to the Android market, but not yet. Right now on the Kindle Fire you can only read books offline.

I too am looking for more offline capability on my Kindle Fire. I like the new split screen and am waiting for note taking, highlighting and searching.

As a current Kindle Fire and Logos owner who desperately needs highlighting and notes, the race is on; which gets released first the Ipad 3 or a Logos Android app with those capabilities. I am hoping for the app, it will cost me a lot less than the Ipad 3 [:)]
But not optimistic...

I am brand new to the mobile app side of logos; but my initial impression is that Android is viewed as a step child

I haven't gotten that impression. It was just started later than the iOS app. But I think it's made great strides, and I use it quite frequently.

Good day: Of this subject I due differ / wherein these post discussed
as a single subject of offline reading availability; once received from logos
one can then download them to their device.Such as: Comment given from logos / Due to contracts with
various publishers, about 11 % of my Logos library is not available for mobile
use… As seen & or can be read was
the starting read for this form / My personal comment about how I have found
Apple ios by fay excepts logos software / logos excepts apples ios for offline
reading. That said this means one can download their purchased books etc.
with-out having any disclaimer about not being able to not download… Or is my
personal experience an exception? Sense my library is vastly very large…Also I am
trying to decide which android tablet for this very reason, now show that logos
has fallen behind in this or am I all wrong, or even impart right? Thank you so
much for this opportunity to find out what possible concerning future buys of

An app means application: such as a bible app is just a bible of sorts that can be read on-line or off-line / an app is an application for that specific idem of that given application calling it self an app... hope this helps

Has a way been developed yet to get the "Bible Word Study" working in offline mode? Like others, when I'm in a place without wifi or a mobile network it would be nice to be able to use the Logos app and use it completely as when connected. OR is there a way to get to Strong's numbers from my KJV while in the offline mode NOT using the Bible Word Study??? I do not think there is a KJV with Strongs numbers that, when selected, jumps to Strongs.
