Suspense...sounds intriguing!
An HTML5-based version of Full Logos that will run in offline mode on any HTML5 compliant device---effectively bringing the "Desktop PC" experience to the smartphone user?

Even publishers we’ve worked with for years might change their strategy—pulling back from digital, or pushing ahead full steam (hint: keep an eye on the Pre-Pub page next week…).
Related?
DanPritchett Still at work in my office, haven't even stepped out for dinner. REALLY excited by what we are about to launch @Logos4 hours ago
Edwin, where did you find this information? May be it may excite for some of us,but if it is like °°Perseus Renaissance Collection°° it may not excite me.

Must be a Sermon File Addon. Nah, I am dreaming!
I think you guys are taking too loose a hermeneutical approach to the word "launch".
It's pretty clear that Logos bought and refurbished a decommissioned space shuttle from NASA.

The First Bible Product to the MOON!

If it is related, my money (in a manner of speaking) would be on Zondervan - as I'm sure you will recall there was a major announcement late last year of a wider range of titles to be made available in Logos.
I'm going to enjoy the suspense for once. The day after Christmas was always a slow day as a child... [:P]
I'm hoping Oxford starts cooperating: possibly the best 1 vol Bible Commentary, the NETS Septuagint, Barth's Roman's, multiple study Bible's notes, etc.
I am hoping to see LSJ or HALOT and Contexts of Scripture on the iPad. I say OR because HALOT and Contexts of Scripture are with Brill, LSJ is from a different publisher. I wish they were all on our mobile devices.
My money is on The Theological Dictionary of the Old Testament! [H][Y]
I hope it's a software feature or improvement. I don't think you'd typically stay up late working on negotiating rights for books

Sorry Mark, I'm just not pinterested.

I hope no one would miss dinner for Pinterest :-) !
Must have stayed up late waiting for the email invite...
I've been on Pinterest for a few months. Don't have time to do much with it, but I did create a pin board of Interesting or Unusual Churches, and I pinned Logos's 404 page as one of the examples of Funny 404 (HTML page not found) Error Pages.
A fully functional, bug free, Syntax Search feature for L4 Mac [:D]

That would take more than one night without dinner! Might take hundreds of dinner-less nights.
oh... that's neat I guess...
Keep dreaming uncle Jack

He's not the only dreamer!
I asked Dan what it was about, just 1 hour after he sent the Tweet. The answer scared me ... so I will have to wait!
I hope its something I will like, and can afford ...

Thanks Graham.
Just got a catalog from Concordia. It states the Lutheran Study Bible is available in Logos.
This could be part of a deal with one or more denominational publishers.

Good news. I was just demoing Logos to one of the teachers at our church last week and mentioned that this was not available now because it seemed that CPH and Logos were working things out.
I suspect that the big launch is going to be bigger than bringing CPH back into the fold the fold.

There was another post suggesting that next week we would see quite a number of pre-pubs coming up from new vendors. That's good news. I'm hoping still, however, that those announcements will be divorced from this one. I'm looking to see some big improvements - flash cards, better stem searches, something along that lines.
I'm getting bored with Syntax Search, we had a few bugs in Windows that kept me interested - prefer to start with Text search these days[:)]
So does anyone have a hint or pointer?
No, but I did ask when the big day was and was told via twitter:
Dan Pritchett (@DanPritchett)2/13/12 2:20 PM@JonathanDWass March 1st
Perhaps Logos is going to enter the administrative church software market?
It would make sense with an overall roadmap that perhaps intends to capture the entire church goer "experience"--especially if social features are someday added to the product line.
Okay, I put my mind to it:
Step 1. Recall that many months back I saw a request for Bible scholars to contribute articles to a product.
Step 2. Recall that said product was an online Bible dictionary
Step 3. Go to http://www.logos.com/websites to see if it is showing anything that might be a hint.
Step 4. Note that it has a site entry for a Lexham Bible Dictionary.
Step 5. Click on link which takes me to http://www.lexhambibledictionary.com/ which is all ad and no content
Step 6. Use sloppy inferential logic to formulate guess that Lexham Bible Dictionary is the item launching.
Step 7. Carefully refuse to provide a confidence level on my guess in order to minimize egg on face phenomenon on March 1.
Could it be this?

"Viva Cristo Rey!!"

It certainly is to some of us[:D] but I doubt Dan would have stayed at work without supper for it.
I forgot to say, I already pre-ordered mine [:D]
I don't know. Negotiating with the bishops could be quite a draining experience (As the Obama administration has found with the whole HHS mess).

And I was tempted to do a PB of it from the vatican website...
But for now we have the OT for the Lexham English Bible!
Wow! Rule #1 at Logos is "never give a date"... or something like that. Interesting.

If he had said April 1, I would be really skeptical :-). What ever it is, they must be pretty confident that March 1 is the day.

March . . . hmmm . . . March Madness . . . Everything is 50% off in March and earns $1 March Madness dollar . . . March is when Apple is rumored to be releasing the next IPAD . . . hmmmm
A stealth upgrade and long awaited. Very nice to see!
EDIT: It is on the Blog:http://blog.logos.com/2012/02/the-leb-old-testament-is-now-available/
It has to be a 3D copy of our Logos Library, which extends out of our monitor. If Logos doesn't create it Mark Barnes will next month.

All you would have to do is triangulate your pixel vectors.
Yea I think it will be something associated with march madness
Perhaps Logos is going to lower the price of Portfolio.
