King James Bible Commentary Not In L4

I have the Libronix eBible Deluxe edition which included 'The King James Bible Commentary'

Initial Info:

Have already had my licenses all transferred to L4 (I think) when I had both libronix and L4 on my old computer.

The Issue/Question:

I bought a new laptop a couple of months ago and was looking to transfer a couple of my licenses (outside Logos web purchases) to a pastor friend who recently 'converted' to L4 (with the help of 5 years of prodding from me Big Smile ). I was already going to transfer my 'extra' Pulpit Commentary license to him but was also thinking of transferring my eBible Deluxe as well.

I then went to my L4 on my new computer (which does not have Libronix on it) to check to see if I had 'The King James Bible Commentary' just to make sure I didn't want it. Well... It isn't showing up....

Question: Why wouldn't it show up? Was that a resources that did not make the transfer to L4? Or am I needing to install Libronix on my new laptop to make sure all the licenses have transferred?

Side Question: Why don't we have (or am I missing it) the ability to view all our current licenses in L4 (like we did with Libronix)?

I am finding some odd things....

Doing some comparing between...

AND what I actually have in my L4 library... I am finding that I have some of the resources found in eBible Deluxe in my L4 library... but others are not there... (Note: I am NOT talking about what comes with my L4 base-package... which is Gold.... I'm referring to those resources that do NOT come with L4 Gold but are in eBible Deluxe)

I also do NOT have the Nelson's New and Old Testament Surveys (2 separate resources)

But I do have things like... Nelson's New Illustrated Bible Dictionary... and Nelson's New Christian Dictionary...

I have not gone through it all... but I'm not understanding why some show up but others do not... I did not notice this on my old computer, but I actually didn't think to check... thought I would ask here to see if this is normal before spending hours finding out myself.

According to the comparison chart the 2 surveys are in the Expanded but not the Deluxe. I do have the commentary under the title KJV BIble Commentary. Have you tried that title?

I suppose it is possible that some of these files are not hosted on the Logos ftp server. You could try sticking your eBible disc in your computer and using the command Scan DVD

Ah yes, you are correct. So those do not count. However, I also notice that most of those under the Prayer heading are also NOT in my L4 library...

Well... I don't have libronix even on my old computer anymore.... I did not use it for over a year, and game my old computer to my son, and have not put it on my new computer because I didn't think I would ever need it.... looks like I do... thank you for the reply

No, you just need your eBible installation CDs/DVDs. You run the Scan command from Logos 4. Check the wiki article Kevin pointed you to.
