My default note font is arial but every note keeps defaulting to Athelas Logos in 4.5 beta 7.
To add to the weirdness, after I edit the note, it appears to change from Athelas Logos to Arial.
Kurt - I can't help you with the bug, but am wondering why you have chosen Arial? Helvetica, nearly identical (but generally preferred) to Arial, is the default font on Mac. If you don't have a reason for using Arial, you could try seeing if Helvetica works as intended. Just a thought.
This is a parity issue and has been reproduced and reported to our Development department.

Using Logos 4.5 RC 1, appears this bug has been fixed.
I'm using Logos 4.5 SR5 and the problem just appeared for me. I hadn't experienced it before the upgrade.
I learned that this can now be fixed easily but not obviously.
In your note file click on the note window pane and the hit ESC so that no note is actually active. Now select your default note font and styles and from then on the new notes will be created using this new font/style. Works for me.
Thanks for the helpful tip, Kevin.
