Footnotes missing page numbers

When I copy a section of text from Logos to MS Word or Pages (Mac), the footnote created does not include the page number from the resource. I don't see any options to change this...I am using the Turabian citation style.
Here is an example of the resulting footnote...
[1] Josh
McDowell, Josh McDowell's Handbook on
Apologetics, electronic ed. (Nashville: Thomas Nelson, 1997).
Any ideas? Thanks,
Brad

Brad - First, welcome to the forums!
Josh McDowell's Handbook on Apologetics does not have page numbers in Logos, which is why they are not showing up. If the resource had page numbers, there would be a box like the one I have highlighted in the screen shot below.
If you are working on a paper, there are other ways to cite electronic resources without page numbers.

Thanks for your prompt reply...Yes, I am working on a paper for my Church History 301 class. I had points deducted on my last paper for not including page numbers in my footnotes. I guess I need to ask the prof how I can use Logos and not get dinged for the footnotes.

It is not uncommon for electronically published works to lack page numbers. The Turabian style has an example: http://www.press.uchicago.edu/books/turabian/turabian_citationguide.html but it assumes web distribution. Perhaps Chapter:Paragraph number would work. But yes clear a format with your prof or find an equivalent edition in print for the older Logos ebooks which lacked page numbers.

In similar cases I have tried to give as much information as possible, e.g. chapter and subchapter where the quotation is taken (in Turabian). So far the professors haven't said anything...
