Encountering the Psalms: (currently "under development")

Greetings in the name of Christ Jesus,

I have this book "Encountering the Psalms:" pre-purchased. It is listed as "under development." I really wish that somehow, someway, this could be speeded up considerably. I have a grad class that start on March 12 on the Book of Psalms and this is one of the textbooks. I would REALLY like to have this in Logos format before I have to buy the dead tree edition. When I pre-ordered this on Seprt. 23, 2010, I think it was "under contract" then. I am hoping that the delay is about Logos contracting with Baker for the rest of the "Encountering" series and then they will just bundle them altogether. Otherwise, this long of a delay is something that should not happen.

There were a lot of books put on prepub back then as part of an announced deal between Logos and Baker, and a lot (most?) of them are still languishing there:

I DOUBT THAT, I mean it takes a long time to get things tagged and readied for logos even when it is only one book. And you must remember things are given a priority.

Except that this is stuff that has been in the queue for over a year and a half. Plenty of other stuff has appeared on pre-pub and gone to production in that time (including public domain stuff which is more work for Logos).

But I like the almonds (or peanuts) that are butter toffee coated. [:D]

I generally figured that I would be out of luck for this to be produced in time for my class. Can't blame a guy for trying. I can get it in another format (Kindle) if need be, so I can at least "cut and paste" as needed.

My luck will go something like this: I buy the Kindle version and start the class and 2 days later Logos will become available. Sure am I glad I don't depend on luck.

It won't happen that way… It would be worse. The resource will have an announced shipping date before it ships. "Bad Luck" will be that it ships midway through your course. [:S]
