Make sure to block out a couple hours on Thursday afternoon to watch this workshop live!
http://blog.logos.com/2012/02/watch-a-logos-training-workshop-live/
It's Thursday Feb 23, 2:30pm EST.
Enjoy!
Thanks for that -- it looks interesting. I've signed up. It's a couple of hours early on Friday morning over here!
The reminder email that I received for this workshop contains an additional incentive for watching the workshop. It states "Keep an eye out for special coupon codes and discounts, exclusively forattendees (physical or virtual) of the workshop!".
Anyone getting the feed yet? I'm not. [:(]
Feed is live. [8-|]
Keep Smiling [:)]
Still not getting it. I clicked on the link in the e-mail they sent. What's the secret?
Very good question. I don't see anything yet either.
Not getting anything yet here, either.
me neither on hold with Logos to see what is wrong!
Duh, never thought of calling Logos! [8-)] Please let us know what you find out.
The email has a WEB SITE (ends with .TV) that was not linked.
Personally using iPhone streaming. [8-|]
It was linked in my e-mail, and it's not working in Explorer or Google Chrome.
Unfortunately I don't have an iPhone. [:(]
Edit: Tried it on my Droid. That didn't work either.
They are having difficulty in getting the feed, I was able to just get it to work on the iPad, go to the site in safari on iPhone/ipad and click their iPhone streaming link at the bottom. Other than that we have to sit tight.
Thanks, I'm sitting glued to my computer. [:P]
Works fine for me, though they started about 2-3 minutes late and said there was a bit of a problem with the link. He's talked about prioritization and collections. Starting on notes and highlighting now.
My problem was I thought it was PST, as it usually is with Logos. Almost missed it.
Hmm...Still not active for me....
Still cannot get it on laptop. Will the video be posted at logos later?
I-phones & pads are nice, but I am at a computer where I use LOGOS. I have now wasted 45 minutes looking for this workshop. I give up. In the future more specific directions and having the bugs worked out would be nice.
For awhile, was streaming both to iMac and iPad. After hearing and seeing, choose iPad and closed browser on iMac, which allows computer use while watching on iPad.
All these presenters are using Macs. Why then is the mac version of Logos so buggy? If the Logos presenters are using Logos Mac, then lets get it up to par with the Windows version.
I'm on a desktop Mac with Safari.
First guy finished with praising the forums. [Y]
Second guy just starting, hoping the technology will work as well as it did for the first guy... [:#]
Now Greek and Hebrew. First RI's.

Just bought a new HP 2 weeks ago. Someone told me I should have bought a Mac. But I didn't want my Logos messed up. [;)]
I'm on a PC and it doesn't seem to be streaming. Maybe they can at least email those who registered the specials, coupon codes, etc...having a posted video later would be very nice. Hope that happens!
Concur with recommendation to upgrade to Logos 4.5 on Mac; since wiki => Feature Parity includes note about removing 18 items from feature parity list after Logos 4.5 shipped. Thankful for many, many Logos 4 Mac improvements since Alpha pre-releases. Looking forward to more bug fixes plus feature parity improvements along with new features (e.g. flash cards).
Likewise reading rumors about MacBook Air refresh this year.
I'm watching the presentation on a Mac using Firefox, and have been following it fine from the very beginning with no major problems. I clicked on the hyperlink in the seminar sign up confirmation email I got a few days ago, and it took me straight to the presentation on the Internet. I do have a pretty fast fibre optic broadband connection, so wonder if that is making the difference.
Sounds like it's working for all the Mac/iPhone people but not for the PC/Droid people. I call that discrimination! [;)]
http://crpc.tv Try that link.
EDIT: I'm using IE 8 and IE9 with Windows XP and Windows 7.
Thanks, Joan, but that's the link that's not working. [:)]
I have been watching from the beginning on a PC at the link Joan provided.

Logos 4.5a is usable on Mac and PC. Several Logos 4 buggy issues now occur on both platforms.
For ultrabook, Apple refurbished MacBook Air is best hardware deal => http://store.apple.com/us/browse/home/specialdeals/mac/macbook_air
For Logos 4, suggest 2011 models with 4 GB Ram. After Apple refreshes MacBook Air models, anticipating price drop for older models.
By the way, in the last quarter, Apple sold 15.4 million iPads, which is more than the 15.1 million computers sold by HP. Anticipating iPad 3 next month.
Earlier in the presentation, link was posted for Morris Proctor free training chapters about Notes and Highlighting, which is in wiki Getting Started with Logos => Learning Logos
Wonder why I can't....using Firefox and tried IE [:(]

I am using Chrome.

I guess it's not a Mac conspiracy, but still very mysterious. Chrome doesn't work for me.
Workshop is showing Visual Filters, which can be built using a variety of morphologies. English Reverse Interlinear resources use Logos Greek Morphology in the New Testament. Wiki has Extended Tips for Visual Filters => Examples of visual filters that has Imperative in "Logos Greek Morphology - Verb Moods"
Thankful that Logos Greek Morphology visual filters can be used in Greek and English resources, which have Logos Greek Morphology tagging.

"If you're having trouble viewing the live workshop, we apologize for the inconvenience. A recording of the workshop will be made available"
they said they will make it available online!
Looking forward to watching it.
I'm sorry to see so many of you had problems with the feed, it worked fine for me. They did say they will be posting a recording online.
There were some discount codes mentioned which are due to expire on Sunday, however given the technical difficulties I wouldn't be surprised if Logos extended them
I kept refreshing the feed on my laptop, and used my son laptop to follow the chatter on on the forum page. I could get other videos from the website to run on my Vista, but the feed itself never worked. I finally for the fun of it tried the workshop on my sons laptop (windows 7) and it worked right away. Go figure; I should have set them up in the reverse to begin with. Walt
Thank you for your interest in this workshop. We apologize for any inconvenience the technical difficulties may have caused. As was stated previously in this thread, a recording of this will be made available as soon as possible. In the meantime, everyone who signed up with their email to view this workshop will get an email with the coupon codes. If you have not signed up, please do so by visiting logos.com/workshop and entering your email.
Thanks!

Hi,
I was informed by Jonathan that it would be a couple of wks due to the fact that aspects of the presentation would have to be re-recorded as they did not initially record. Be sure your on the list to be notified otherwise you will be excluded.

Thanks! I'll just be patient then
