Hello.
Is there a way for me to add German dictionary? I don't see any German dictionary available on the Logos store.
I would like to add to my library a German dictionary for me to use it in reading German Bible and articles.
Thanks.
I am also looking for one thats in the public domain, if anyone can poit me at source will have a go at making a PB?
Check out German resources on WordGumbo ("an archive of public domain and redistributable language learning resources"), particularly the German-English Lexicon labeled "freeware data from freedict.com". This is already in a text file and is pretty huge, so probably your easiest bet for converting to a PB.
Other stuff I found:
LingoPad Freeware offline Dictionary has German-English: http://www.ego4u.com/en/lingopad
Freelang German-English dictionary has a free downloadable program and German-English wordlist: http://www.freelang.net/dictionary/german.php
Free English to German dictionary: http://www.germandictionary.org/
Cheers Rosie.
I guess I need to use the @Headword+<language> if US it would be en-us or en-uk for UK
is German de-de?
is there a list of languages/codes?

I think UK English is en-gb (for Great Britain). And yes, German in Germany is de-de, as opposed to Swiss German which is de-ch. Here's a page listing the most common ones, with links to fuller ISO country code and language code lists:

Hi, Andrew, thank you for reminding me for the thread I have started long time ago about English-German dictionary, in this thread there are more interested ones as well, I hope one day we may get one in Logos.http://community.logos.com/forums/t/11013.aspx
Ok I only have a LUT1912, so it may be hard to fully test, have almost prepared "A" and will test it shortly, whilst I am using a macro to do most of the taggng - it isn't exactly fast with 83000 records. it will take a couple of weeks to preprocess the files, and then some one will have to proof it.,
I will post "A"'s doccument in files when I have it so you can test it and tell me if its worth proceeding with the rest.
