reading Plan syncing on iPad
quick question.
I changed the name of my reading plan on my PC version of Logos4 from the default "read ESV in a year" to "M'Cheyne Reading Plan"
The dates still look synced between my ipad app version and the PC version, but the title has not changed on the iPad. Will it?
just curious? thanks

Gary - Yes, the name will change, but the sync is broken between the two apps (desktop & mobile). A fix is coming to both apps. The desktop app is in public beta (4.5a b6), while the mobile app entered private beta today. Logos has publicly said that they intend for the beta to be a short cycle (meaning that it will be released asap). I don't know how long it might take the mobile app to leave beta.

Thanks for the update. This is driving me nuts!
Also do you know if we will ever be able to choose what devotionals are on our iPad home screen?

Hi Alabama
I honestly don't use the devotionals that way. Have you tried prioritizing them in L4?
Unfortunately prioritizing them doesn't help
This may be related to the general issue of prioritization not syncing between desktop and mobile devices or may be something else
I've not been able to make this work which is frustrating

I think that I've loaded the needed update to make the sync work now. Now when I open my logos app for ipad I have no reading plan there at all? Any ideas how to get the app to find the one that is listed on my home page (the one I custom titled)?
Thanks!

Reading plans are off line for a while in preparation for sync v2. Dave Dunkin posted on the forum this morning about this.

As Kenneth mentioned, reading plans are being taken down for a few days. However, I do want to point out that TWO updates are needed. Your computer needs to be at 4.5a (already released) and your mobile app needs to be at 2.1 (currently in private beta). I cannot tell you when 2.1 will be released, but I can tell you that it is in the RC2 stage of development. I have no insider knowledge of when it might be released, but one way to view Dave's post (could!) suggest that 2.1 will be released in the "next few days." Again, I stress that he did not say this explicitly.
