I can not access resources I used to be able to access in Logos 3.5

A while back I updated to the Logos 4 dashboard, though I still use Logos 3.5. I upgrade was necessary to be able to work with Firefox and/or Explorer. I can't remember now which. Anyway, since that time, I have not been able to access my ESV Greek or Hebrew Interlinear. I've looked around and I think I'm missing other resources from my library. Is this a common thing to have happen? And, how to I fix this?

Hi Barry - and welcome to the forums

I have not been able to access my ESV Greek or Hebrew Interlinear.

Interlinears are not separate resources under L4, reverse interlinear capability is included in the resources themselves.

The information there will tell you - among other things - how to check if you have the reverse interlinear capability and, if so, how to access it.

I understand your frustration, Barry. In my personal Bible study I use the ESV Greek and Hebrew Interlinears regularly. That is a big reason I still use Logos 3 on my desktop and laptop and have not put Logos 4 on my laptop. I do not like the setup with interlinears on Logos 4 at all!!! I was in forums this afternoon about another issue and this topic caught my attention. I am hoping Logos 3 is around for a long time!

Personally, I love the way interlinears are accessed in a logos 4, it makes doing a Bible Word Study report easy, and there Re many options that can be accessed off a right click option.

Wow! Was I surprised. I had not looked at the interlinear function for awhile and I discovered that the NASB Bible interlinear looks just like it does in Logos 3. The ESV does not; it still has the interlinear function only at the bottom of the page and one cannot see the entire page in the same way as Logos 3.

You can make the ESV interlinear look like you want by clicking the "Display" menu and making sure that "Inline" is checked:

Then you can select which inline interlinear lines you want display from that same menu.

Barry, you can still use Libronix 3.0g (3.5?) with Internet Explorer 9 provided you have the IE9 Fix --> http://community.logos.com/forums/t/30926.aspx
Whether it works with the upcoming IE10 I can't say, but you can run Logos4 and Libronix on the same computer. When installed L4 will pick up resources from Libronix otherwise you'll have to scan L3 resource CD/DVD's to get them ie.

put a CD/DVD in the drive
type scan DVD from the L4 Command box (at top of its window)
restart L4 to get the files and index them

If you had ESV Greek/Hebrew Interlinear in L3 you will also have it in L4, as described in a previous post.

Dave, she couldn't have been replying to you, since you didn't show any screenshots, and she was thanking (someone) for the screenshots. Also, you can tell what post someone replied to by clicking the Replied link next to their name. Turns out it was Todd.

But yes, Judy, it does help others coming along later reading the thread if you mention who you're saying thanks to, since someone else might have posted in the interim, which indeed was the case in this instance. And it could be confusing since many users don't know about the Replied link trick, and probably wouldn't go to the trouble anyway.
