The passage guide does not locate any of my commentaries.
We need a bit more information to be able to help. What version/operating system? Is the indexing complete? Do the commentaries appear in your library? What passage are you trying?
I've got the exact same issue. I'm running on Snow Leopard. I have v1.2.2 installed and all resources work fine. I installed just the engine of Logos 4, haven't paid for an upgrade yet (I will, just need some cash). The resources list in the library, but don't show in the passage guide.
And it's the A2 release of Logos 4 I have installed. Indexing completed and all downloads.
Same here. I can't look up a passage. There is no Bible listed. I type in Matt 7 in at the home page and click enter or GO. I get NO resources and no Bible passage returned. I thought this is the case of everybody because of where the build is. Are others able to look up passages in A2?
When you type in, are you then selecting from the list that populates below the search bar? Try selecting one of those instead if not.
I'm able to open all the tools without crashing, but some selections just do nothing except open a new pane. When I select from the list that populates below the search bar, all that is found is a pane of "Media Resources." The program doesn't do much, but I'm happy just to be able to read most of my ebooks (about 50 never downloaded out of 300). Let me know if I can help in any way.
I think this is normal. At least from my personal experience, and the sense I get from browsing this forum. In the very near future, I think that we will see more things become functional. I have seen positive movement with each update of the Beta. It has only been about a week now since the Beta was first available. I'm guessing that we will have a mostly functioning program within the first month (wild speculation).
I agree with you, overall, Dave. But in this forum are screenshots of A2 with commentaries listed in the passage guide. That's the only reason I've been asking about it myself - because I've seen it functioning for other users.
Hey since I posted those I am starting to think that these features work because I had been using the Windows version first and made these settings there before I used the Mac.
Not sure though.
Thanks for checking back in Joe. That sounds like a plausible answer. I know people are seeing stuff sync between Windows and Mac environments, and that's the only difference that makes sense so far. So I guess we wait some more.
