Reading Plan not showing up on iPad
Ok, I have searched the various forums and cannot figure it out. I want to create a reading plan for a specific resource on my iPad. I have it on my laptop but cannot get it on my iPad.
Any help?

Guy - Unfortunately there is a sync issue with the mobile app. Logos is working on it, but it is not functioning well currently. At some point the reading plan will show up on the iPad, but it is not reliable at present. Logos is currently working on a new sync infrastructure, some of which will debut in 4.5 (currently in beta). This will bring notes & highlighting to the mobile app. Shortly after the next major release, Logos is hoping to bring reading plans into the updated sync infrastructure.

Thank for the timely response. I will wait patiently.....
Is it ready yet?....... How about now........

Nope. Not done yet. In all seriousness, I think it might be getting "close" to my standards. 4.5 is in beta 9. Just a hunch though.
Now it's in beta 10, and they were all bug fixes...so I think we are getting very close.

Must be noted that "very close" means "very close to a 4.5 release" not necessarily "very close to an iOS release that fixes reading plan sync" - though I think there is merit to the speculation that the iOS release will probably not be far behind.

I'm betting that the problem is not with iOS side but with the Logos desktop side.

Data replication needs reliable transport through Logos cloud of servers. From various forum discussions, noted older sync framework seemed to segregate mobile apps and Logos 4: i.e. quick to sync between mobile, or quick to sync between Logos 4 installations, but cross platform sync slowing down as data volume increased, which implies a performance bottleneck between Logos "cloud" servers.
Logos 4.5 Beta combined highlighting and notes. Mobile apps also needed code modification to send and receive highlighting/notes sync messages. For data propagation across platforms, minimizing sync message size is prudent.
Am aware of many Logos users, including Bob Pritchett (CEO), who are anxiously looking forward to reliably syncing reading plans along with highlighting and notes across all Logos applications.
By the way, noticing recent improvements to Logos web site (e.g. wish list). Suspect web site also included in Sync v2 framework for sync with biblia.com along with helping buying experience (and dreams).

Is there any update on this? I just noticed that my reading plan is not showing up on my iPhone either. Actually, an 'accidentally' created plan DID show up, but when I finally got what I wanted in my desktop app on my Mac, it doesn't seem to be showing up on my phone.
Not being impatient. I mostly want to make sure that I'm not missing something on my end. Complete NuB here.

Welcome [:D]
For reading plan sync, looking forward to Sync v2 framework when ready to use. Currently, Logos 4.5 Beta has some bugginess to resolve before a stable release will be ready. Anticipating mobile app updates with Logos 4.5 stable release so Sync v2 framework can be enabled to sync reading plans (and much more).
When Sync v2 is ready for use; anticipating announcement in several Logos forums and tweets. When syncing more items is working, anticipate a lot more announcements, including web site updates and emails.

Curious, but how come I had the reading plan for over a year and then it all of a sudden disappeared?

Bennie - Welcome to the forums! Sorry you are having troubles.
Logos is in the process of moving elements of the software over to a new sync infrastructure. Notes & Highlights were the two big ones for Logos 4.5 & iOS 2.0. Reading plans are the focus of 4.5a & iOS 2.1 (in private beta now). Once the update goes live, the syncing of reading plans will be improved for all users. Unfortunately, due to an unforeseen hiccup, Logos had to take reading plans down for all users temporarily. They hope to have them up and running very soon.

Nothing publicly, but I can tell you that the mobile app has gone to RC3.
Looking forward to it going GM.
