Bug: Lookup returning wrong word in UBS4
I'm running the latest version of Logos for iOS (2.0.2), on an iPad with 5.0.1. I have UBS4 opened (downloaded) to 1 John 2:26 (the top verse showing on the screen, navigated to by the "Contents" popup).
I touch and hold on ὃ, the 5th word in v. 27. It highlights and the popup appears. I press "Lookup". The window says "Looking up ὃ ...". When it comes back, I've got the parsing information for the next word ( ἐλάβετε ).
I'm really loving having the UBS4 and being able to use "Lookup" to verify my parsing, but I need it to work correctly.

Donnie - I am not sure if this applies in your situation or not: Have you downloaded the UBS4? Is it possible you need to update your local version? You could try deleting the resource and redownloading.

I've just replicated this on my iPad 2, and done a little more poking around. The word before it and the word after it lookup correctly on the "cloud" text. However, after downloading the resource onto my iPad, opening another resource then reopening UBS4, it all looks up correctly. It also works correctly on my WIndows 7 PC with 4.5a. I suspect that downloading the text will probably sort it out, but you might need to close the app or move off the text and back onto it first.

My original post did state that I have the UBS4 downloaded. Logos has not indicated that I need to apply an update to that resource, but I can try deleting it and re-downloading it to see if that corrects the issue.
Slightly related question: What resource is consulted to retrieve the morphology when I click "Lookup"? Will "Lookup" respond more quickly if I download that resource? Will "Lookup" work when the iPad is offline if I download that resource?

I verified this problem in another location in UBS4, with UBS4 as it was then-currently downloaded. I think removed the resource from being downloaded ("information" popup window, "Remove"). I then checked, and found that it still didn't work with an un-downloaded UBS4. I then re-downloaded the resource. I'm still seeing the error after re-downloading it.

I don't know the answer to the first question (which resource). Unfortunately, the searches are performed on the Logos servers and not locally. In other words, there isn't a resource to download. Consequently, no, it will not work offline.
