I took the plunge and just purchased an iPad; it should arrive sometime around the middle of the week. When I have the Logos app loaded, can I view notes side by side with my bible utilizing the split screen feature? The screen shots I have seen show notes as a pop up over the bible.

Unfortunately, the answer is no. Notes are only able to be viewed from within the resource itself, and only if a note indicator (little colored square or other shape) is present (as shown in the screen shot below). [EDIT: You can also view a note if you have included anything in the highlight note field. You would have to "edit" the highlight to see these notes. The note info only shows up in a popup when an indicator is present.]

Fred I believe you will love your new iPad.  Eventually when our personal books are synced to the iPad, you could make a PB out of your notes and have it scroll along with your Bible.  That feature may be a while in getting here, however.

The notes are not able to be viewed side by side using split screen...yet. I've requested this feature. Currently they pop up over the top. It is a little bit annoying sometimes when I want to view all the text I'm commenting on, but it is only mildly annoying. Notetaking works very well.

I have found that running both the Vyrso app and the Logos app simultaneously and swapping between them is helpful when taking notes. I can have the note window open in one and quickly bounce back and forth between apps, taking Notes in Logos and looking at the text I'm commenting on or looking up other references in Vyrso (or vice versa) as the apps are basically the same.

    Hello Fredc,

I've submitted an enhancement request for Split Screen Note viewing to our Development department, although I can't say if or when the feature might be implemented.  Thanks!

I too have requested this. I would love to use the other panel to type notes in.
