L4 keeps giving me this message when I attempt to update it. When I hit retry, I keep getting sent back this screen immediately
7043.Logos4Crash.txt3833.Logos4Error.logI appreciate any help which you can provide.
Hi Philip,
i am barely a novice at reading these logs.
a) But you might check the folder to see if that file exists. You might also want to check if this file is found (from the Error file: Error detail: DllNotFoundException: Unable to load DLL 'LDLS3.dll': The specified module could not be found.) On my computer it is found here:
b) Are you logged into Windows as an Administrator ?
I had the same issue. I canceled it, right clicked on the icon, and ran the program as administrator. It worked fine...not sure why/if that made the difference.
This issue looks a lot like: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/21865.aspx
Wonder about folder permissions ?

Thanks for the help folks. I checked, and it is not a problem with folder security.
When I attempt to run L4 as the administrator, it crashes, so that is not an option.
And, that file LDLS3.dll does exist Steve.
Screen shot shows ownership of Logos4 folder, but does not show permissions.
Also wonder about permissions for your folder: C:\Users\User05\AppData\Local\Logos4\System ?
Likewise curious if file LDLS3.dll exists in folder: C:\Users\User05\AppData\Local\Logos4\System ?
If file does not exist, wonder about downloading and running current stable Logos 4 setup => http://downloads.logos.com/LBS4/LDLS4Installer/Logos4Setup.exe
One cause for file not found is lack of permission to read file.
Thanks for te help! I ended up biting the bullet and re-installing Logos on this (non-administer) account.
