Large Highlight File Fixed!

Of all the times my iPad battery is dead... now is not helping any!!!  I'm SOO looking forward to this.

Battery's charged.  The highlighting I entered on the iPad shows, but the highlighting done on my Mac hasn't come down yet... and the network activity indicator is spinning.  Hoping it comes down before the app exits.

Unfortunately, it exited without showing the highlighting from my Mac

I just cleared the stopped all the apps, cleared the Console Log, and relaunched it.  maybe there's something in there that'll help Logos figure out what's going on.

Bummer. Sorry it did not work for you. Recently, I had carved the file back from 700 to 400 pages, but it had still failed until sometime this week. I am not sure when it actually worked. I did not notice it until this morning (prior to the Ipad arriving - sorry).

The 2.1.0 Vyrso (is it the same as the coming 2.1.0 Logos app? - probably) is failing worse for me than before - takes only a few minutes to fail. I don't know if it is the same problem - assume it is since others are not having a problem with it.

One thing you can check is to go into iOS settings: general: usage & figure out how much the app is taking up. Open up the app… let it continue the spinning thing for a while… let it crash several times if need be… check the file size again. As long as it is still downloading, keep it going. Once it levels off it may work for you. This has sometimes worked for me in the past. [:S]

If it doesn't work out, let us know. The dev's are very busy with several projects right now, but I did communicate with someone today. I was hoping danny's success would be duplicated to others.

I had the same problem with another app… the secret one everyones been talking about. Try my advice in my previous post.

Just saw this one.  I have both but really have done much (if anything) with Vyrso.  Once I've let Logos crash a few times, I'll take a look at it and let you know.

After one launch / crash cycle it grew by 20 MB (157 to 177).  Will keep trying - I'll post results when I finally get there!

BTW:  I launched Vyrso, we're a few minutes into it and it's still up.  Internet activity indicator is spinning though... hmmmm

I got ready to try this with Vyrso and low and behold - - - it stayed up  - - - upon closer examination the large file is synced. Could it be that all along it was getting closer and closer? I don't know - but it works now.

Alabama, is 2.1 supposed to fix this or will I be waiting for something else?

Vyrso is already at 2.1.0. It does not seem to address this problem. [:(] After a number of tries I found the same thing as you did on my Ipod Touch - it leveled out on 2.1.0 - still crashing. I wonder if the fix has more to do with the 'temporary' fix for sync that was implemented with 2.0.1.

I honestly don't know. I have been in contact with Logos about another issue and also asked about this one. I was told to gather some more info:

I can download the logs & console entries from Xcode (the iOS development environment).  Is there a another / better way?

Would spinning-up a Windows install of Logos help out any?
