Possible Bug

OK, Some of the other people posting have been working from Biblia, creating notes and trying from there to see them at Faithlife in their individual groups (or trying not to see them in their individual groupsCool .  However, when I try from the opposite direction--having posted a Bible reference in a note from my group (Biblion Study Group) in Faithlife, the reference tagger allows a group member to then click on the Biblical reference and this prompts Biblia to open up so they can see the reference in context within Biblia.  This is great except although it tries to open Biblia, it never quite gets there.  After waiting several minutes I close what the program manages to open in Biblia--then I get a message saying Internet explorer closed and reopened the website (Faithlife) because of a problem.  (This is not the exact wording of the message as it closes a few seconds after Faithlife website reopens.)

I just joined your group to see if I could help with this. I am assuming you are talking about the Bible references above the various maps? I clicked on a number of them and they all took me to Biblia without any kind of the problems you describe. This was in IE9. So unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) I cannot replicate the problem you have described.

Please let me know if I have misunderstood your problem in which case I would be happy to try again.

I appreciate the help...yes it is the reference tags above the maps--I just also noticed that as the program is transitioning to Biblia I am getting a "fantapper" error before it opens to Biblia--any idea on what that might be?--thanks again!

    Well I didn't until I just did a bit of searching [:D]

I rather suspect that fantapper is the source of your problem - I would suggest you uninstall it  - Tools (or the gear at the top right) --> Manage Add-ons - and see if that helps.

Never seen such a thing - could you elaborate more on what browser you are using etc and maybe post a screenshot or two?

I can see a posting in biblion group that refers to John 2 - clicking the reference leads me to biblia (opens in a new browser tab). I'm using Chrome on Win7 32bit.

David & NB-- On the other website that I had the Biblical thinking maps posted to, at one point I was experimenting with a couple of plugins...There was one plug-in file that showed when I searched for "fantapper"--I deleted that and I no longer have the problem...from a "computer dolt" that is trying to learn as I go, I sincerely appreciate the help.  Thanks again to both of you.

    Glad I could help.

I've also been looking into your problem with images and posted a reply just now in your other thread that explains the source of your problem (but unfortunately doesn't solve it.)

I shall delete my test posts from your group now!
