My wife says she remembers a verse that says something like "any creature that does what it was created to do glorifies God."
I can't find it, but I dare not tell my wife she is wrong.
If anyone can find it let me know.
Thanks.
My wife just informed me she may have read it in a book and not in the Bible.
Option: can search Logos library for:
created WITHIN 10 WORDS "glorify God"
Keep Smiling [:)]
That wording, or something close to it, appears to be from Rick Warren's The Purpose-Filled Life, though the idea is not foreign to Scripture. Looking at some of the verses that appear in the Search Results KS4J showed you would lead one to this conclusion.
This is from p. 55.
What my wife remembers was probably from the Purpose Driven Life. I had also forgotten that Logos could search "within 10 words".
Thanks for the information.

1st question of the Westminster Catechism also asks (to the effect), what is the chief end of man? The answer? (in effect) Glorify God & enjoy him forever...
