The iPad app doesn't download all your resource. It accesses them from "the cloud". You are able to download some for offline use, but even if you downloaded them all, you would be able to fit it all easily on 16 GB. So if Logos is all you will be using it for the 16GB is fine, but if you will be putting music on it, downloading other apps, taking pictures or movies and using it for much else I would recommend 32 GB minimum. Most people who say, "I won't use it for much. 16GB is enough" (namely, my wife) end up wishing they could have more.

My Logos Library is 11.98 GB so 16 might be small for many users. and with a wifi only model one likely is going to want to be able to download most all one regularly is using. Ad some comes or the Bible on MP3 and you start using up a lot of space really quickly. I personally bought 64 GB because I want most of my logos library most all of my Bible study stuff that I have in other programs like accordance oltivetree and wordsearch. and know from my iPhone 32 is not enough for my usage.

Also be aware that due to the Retina Display all the other apps will be doubling or tripling in size as developers update graphics and other features of their various apps to accomodate the higher display.  So you will need more space now vs. before because of the app bloat/size increase.  This will affect all iPad/iPhone/iPod users, from what I can tell.

Jacob thanks for the information & recommendation, your right 32GB must be the minimum if i want to use other apps. I am also planning to use my wordsearch bible software if possible.

Reynaldo, as some may have mentioned, due to licensing restrictions, some publishers do not currently allow Logos to provide access to their resources on mobile devices such as the iPad.  To check which Logos resources can be read and downloaded on the iPad, look for this logo in the relevant resource page on the logos website.

Hi Reynaldo. It you are looking at the iPad 2, which in my opinion is as good as any other available tablet outside the new iPad and better than most others, you would want to consider refurbished ones. They carry the same warranty as new ones and can save you a good bit of money. The 32GB WiFi only is $449 and the 64GB WiFi only is $549. That's $150 less than comparable 3rd generation iPads.

That really is a great deal for the 64 as the new iPad 2 16GB's are now $399 :D

Indeed. The price of the iPad isn't the final amount. Hope you the best.
