So, I love the notes syncing and because of that I have been using notes more often. I am also really picky about the visuals of reading my bible. I can't stand the big yellow box's all over my screen. Is there anyway to either get rid of them or replace them with anything else? I know it is a pretty small issue, but it would be nice :)

    Josh -

I can't post a picture right now, but you can edit the color & shape of the note indicator. Try creating a new note and you should see what I mean. Also, since notes = highlights, you could just highlight instead.

    Hi Josh,

    1. click on a note that's already there.  It should pop up, and give you the "edit note" in the bottom left
    2. select "edit note."
    3. the "edit note" screen pops up.
      1. notice you can change the style and the color of the note indicator itself (style=plain box, with exclamation, etc; color=yellow, red, etc)
      2. Also note "style" below the note box choices.  You probably see "yellow highlight".  Clicking the arrow, you can change that color, or select "no highlight" (but still leave the colored box, if you prefer.
    4. You may also "delete note" with the red button at the bottom.

Sorry, no screen shots to show you.  [:)]

    I like Apples.  Especially Honeycrisp.

    Hi Josh

As Alabama says you can modify the icons (or not get them at all by using highlights).

You also have the "no indicator" option you can apply to a note which does what it says!

You get this by clicking on the note icon in the note file and then selecting the options you want

    Hope this helps

    Sorry

my post and comments were for the desktop version (but I decided to leave it because I thought it could be useful)

As Alabama and Dan have said the same principles apply for the iPad - a screenshot is below

This allows you to select the indicators you want
