The Sovereignty of God, A. W. Pink
I may have missed it, but I haven't seen any posts lately on the Sovereignty of God by Pink. I have written the suggestion group a couple of times but no response has been offered. Will this great book ever find its way into our library?

Welcome [:D]
Searching Logos.com for A.W. Pink titles => http://www.logos.com/products/search?Author=Pink%2C+Arthur+Walkington&start=&sort=title&pageSize=60 showed "Sovereignty of God" was not available for purchase.
Public domain text is available at => http://www.ccel.org/ccel/pink/sovereignty.html that also has a book cover image.
After downloading text file, changed paragraphs to flow text along with adding Heading styles before building a Personal Book (left chapter endnotes in place):

Wiki has => Personal Books and => User Contributed Personal Books

Thank you very much. I downloaded the book from Amazon for my Kindle, but I would like the book in my Logos for search and comparison.

Sovereignty of God was available by another seller in L3. You may be able to locate some the older CDs ....

Thank you for your input. I am pretty much a nerd when it comes to doing the kinds of things you mentioned re personal book. But following your advice and the how to from Logos, I have it in my computer. Thanks again. Gene

To Keep Smiling 4 Jesus;
I'm having a problem. I copied the Sovereignty of God from the site you gave and I can get it ok on my computer upstairs, but when I try to open it on my downstairs computer, I get a message that says I don't have a license for this resource. What am I doing wrong. Gene

Gene - You must either:
- Compile the book on each computer -or-
- Manually move the compiled book file to the second computer
I personally don't know how to do the second option. KS4J has written about it elsewhere… I will see if I can find it.

Another option is to use dropbox to sync the .docx files, then compile them on each computer. I created a tutorial about using dropbox: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/37105.aspx?PageIndex=1

What does change to "flow text" mean?

Public domain text file has a line break after every line, which becomes a paragraph when opened in Word.
Screen shot shows text line breaks, which does not flow to fill width of WordPad window. In contrast, Logos 4 personal book shows text flowing to fit floating window width:
Likewise, personal book shows Heading styles (e.g. "FOREWORD").

How did you get Word to remove the page break after every line?

[I'm assuming you mean line/paragraph breaks rather than page breaks...]
I think if you go to Edit > Find & Replace in MS Word, and then enter
find "^p" (without the speech-marks) and
replace with [and just enter one press of the space bar]
it will replace each line/paragraph break with a space and that automatically pulls consecutive lines together into a paragraph.

After opening text file in Word, noticed a pattern of paragraph mark followed by three spaces so used Word to replace paragraph mark and two spaces with nothing.

This is probably one of the most useful tips you can note for formatting public domain works into personal books for use in Logos PBB!

Every time I get on this forum, I quickly realize that I am only using about 10% of what Logos can do! [:$]
I really need to go to Camp Logos. [8-)] [*-)]
Thanks for all the insight and tips. [Y]
God bless, Richard
