Has there been any update on when a new and improved android version will be out? With Android having the largest market share even over iOS I would imagine it should be a priority.
Thanks

Observation: combining smartphone and tablet usage for web browser use, iOS is used a bit more than Android world wide => http://www.netmarketshare.com/operating-system-market-share.aspx?qprid=9&qpcustom=iOS,Android&sample=38
On 15 Mar 2012, Bob Pritchett's (CEO) reply => http://community.logos.com/forums/p/46971/349397.aspx#349397 includes:
We're on it. It's getting better every day. We have a team of 4-5 developers assigned specifically to Android (not counting all the shared code it uses from other devs/teams). Our primary Android targets are phones and the Kindle Fire, because Android hasn't made much market-share progress on tablets yet. (But we have many Android tablets on site and are working on them, too.) The Android app is rapidly catching up and major new releases are coming shortly.

Apologies: not know how soon for major new Android releases.
For what it's worth.
Even opening a note file in Split View would be helpful since I could use the notes I make on my desktop for teaching with my tablet.
You can't even do that on the iPad/iPhone version which is far ahead of Android.
That depends on whose data you look at of course, statistics.....

I could go on but will not. I have owned an iphone and currently own an ipad, galaxy tab (and android phone as well) and some others, sort of my profession and I tend to not get caught up in all the hype and "cool kid" factors. Anyway, I personally use the android tablet far more than the ipad (except for games) because it is smaller and easier to hold.
Anyway, having said that I did not mean to stir up apple vs the world religion debate, I was just curious on progress. I appreciate the link the android update.
Appears U.S. smartphone purchasing has become a 2 horse race => http://techcrunch.com/2012/03/29/nielsen-as-u-s-nears-smartphone-majority-its-a-two-horse-race-between-android-and-apples-ios/
Purchases of Android and iOS smart phones in the U.S. have substantially increased in the past 3 months (only 9 % of smart phone purchases were other devices).
Thankful for Logos mobile app development for Android and iOS.
Likewise curious about market progress and Logos mobile app progress. Looking forward to many Logos mobile improvements along with much more usage as mobile device sales increase.
Keep Smiling [:)]
