Since logos is selling the NBBC which is being produced and will take some years to finish themm I want to say thank you. But I would like to suggest the old Beacon Bible Commentary, 10 Volume Set by Ralph Earle, W. T. Purkiser and A. F. Harper .

I have used this set in the past and would jump at it in a second...I kick myself for getting rid of my hard copy years ago in an attempt to rule my library down. It is very devotional and a great work.

This was my first commentary set purchased long before the age of electronic books. Somehow in countless moves around the country including Alaska I still have it. I still refer to it often even though it is not as easy to access as my commentaries in Logos. I don't hesitate to highly recommend it.
